添加您的业务详细信息Set in rural Pembrokeshire, the accommodation at this coastal spot is smart, self-contained and all-round brilliant for breaks full of fresh air.
Liz, Ian and their two terriers run the show at Hillcroft Escapes, and what a show it is. Standards are kept high here, with well-kept units that are cosy and compact without ever feeling crowded (i.e., a great base for romantic retreats in the countryside). They all have ensuite bathroom facilities too, as well as electricity that's fully powered by renewable sources.
For after sundown, candles and a firepit are at your disposal (wood is supplied). There's also free wifi access a short walk away from the accommodation. (Any dogs that have joined you on hol are likely to be particularly chuffed about that last bit, as with their humans forced to give their gadgets a break they're likely to find themselves getting extra belly rubs).
The Pembrokeshire coast is under 10 minutes away by road, so this site scores highly when it comes to swimming, surfing and strolling opportunities. The teeny city of St Davids is about 15 minutes away too, while a trip to the larger town of Haverfordwest will set you back around 20 minutes.
Don't want to restrict yourself to circular walks? The site is a short stroll from the route of the Puffin Shuttle, a seasonal bus service that runs to several scenic spots along the coast.

From Penycwm on the A487 follow the brown tourist signs for Newgale Lodge. Once at Brawdy Farm you are within quarter of a mile of the site. Look out for Hillcroft, a bungalow on a crossroads – your destination is approximately 20 metres behind this.

Sand fans have whole swathes of beach at their fingertips around here: watch the tide go in and out at Solva (10 minutes' drive), surf the waves at Whitesands Bay (20 minutes) or make for the dog-friendly shores of Druidston Haven (20 minutes) – you're unlikely to be disappointed. Here for a longish spell? You might want to also make the trip south to the brill bits of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park around Saundersfoot (45 minutes).
You won't feel hard done by when it comes to historical sites either: Pembrokeshire has roughly 50 castles to explore, and Hillcroft Escapes is close to choice picks like Haverfordwest Castle (20 minutes) and Picton Castle and Gardens (half an hour). Other age-old spots can be seen in St Davids (15 minutes), a small-scale cathedral city with galleries, gift shops and cosy cafés.
There's more to Pembrokeshire than beaches and battlements, though – the county can also sort you out with adrenaline rushes at Oakwood Theme Park (30 minutes), ace animals at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (40 minutes) or fine food at Haverfordwest's far-famed farmers' market (20 minutes).
