Penny Bridge Campsite

喜欢 Lovely clean campsite, run by lovely people who even brought us cakes 🥹 our bell tent was set up so lovely and we were able to purchase fire wood so really enjoyed doing s'mores with the kids on the fire pit they provided!
It's close to some amazing beaches like fresh water and angles, we had a great time!

喜欢 The owners were very welcoming. The pitch was great and it was wonderful to be staying alongside a working farm.

The showers were clean and orderly, plenty of hot water and external washing up was good.

The location was great for exploring multiple surrounding beaches from 10 minutes away by car, and Pembroke was only 7 minutes for supplies and visiting.

We spent a week on the same pitch, met a number of friendly campers during that time staying different durations.

The owner was wonderful, ensured we had everything we needed and even spent some time showing our kids the farm and some of their daily tasks (which they loved!).

A really handy and welcoming spot to pitch up.

喜欢 Sue was lovely. Very friendly and hospitable.
The field was well kept.
Plenty of space to play.
Fire pit was a nice touch.
Communal areas were clean and tidy.

不喜欢 Mattress was not the comfiest (springy).

喜欢 Cleanliness of tent, Shower and toilet facilities, Locations, Host, giving kids tour of the farm to see all the animals, gave us tips on where to go.

喜欢 I loved how quiet it was and the fact we could choose where to pitch up. I also liked the fact we could camp next to each other as we had a tent and a camper van, I noticed when searching for campsites that not many allow this which is odd. The site was only a 10 minute drive to the beaches which are stunning. Great for the price! Not many places allow friend bookings so that was a bonus went with my partner and our friend. They allowed barbecues next to the tents.

不喜欢 The contact number didn’t work and we didn’t know how to check in when we turned up so we just found a spot in the field and started pitching up, that’s when (I believe her name is Sue) came over and helped us out. She was great help and helped us out with duct tape for our broken tent. CASH ONLY so make sure to bring some before, we turned up with no cash and had to get some from a nearby cash point.

来自经理: Apologies for not being available when you needed Faye...Sadly not all areas of the farm has good signal for my phone....Glad you found a good spot on the field and enjoyed your stay....I think it does say Cash payment on arrival in the information section....I will check myself!
Pitches closer to the buildings may pick up our wifi though again in this rural setting it can be hit and miss....

喜欢 Lovely quiet campsite with really nice facilities Very clean large shower and toilet with underfloor heating There is a microwave,fridge freezer and washing machine.
Sue made us feel very welcome and gave lots of local info.Nice staying on the farm with horses,sheep and chickens.Fresh eggs were lovely
Found it quite central for beaches and an excellent pub 5 min walk Had really nice pie
Would recommend this campsite for anyone wanting peace and quiet Will definitely return

不喜欢 Could improve washing up area but plenty of hot water

喜欢 Lovely clean site. Cosy and warm shower and toilet room. Microwave fridge freezer and washing up area all inside. The owners have gone above and beyond to make your camping experience as comfortable as possible. Nice quiet field with nice smooth driveway upto the field gates. No Wi-Fi but good signal on our own mobile data.
