Penny Bridge Campsite

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful, relaxed site. Clean facilities. We stayed in a bell tent which was perfect. Sue is a very welcoming host, even giving baked goods as we left!
We were lucky to stay during the eclipse & meteor showers. There's hardly any light pollution at the site, so perfect for star gazing. The host have great local knowledge so shared all best spots for chilled beach days.

Non mi è piaciuto The only thing I would add is some fairy lights or something outside of the tent for late night trips to the loo!

Mi è piaciuto My brother and I loved how quiet and peaceful the campsite was. The facilities consisted of all the necessities, warm showers, an area to wash up, etc. We were especially grateful for the fridge in the hot weather. Sue was a wonderful host - really helpful around the campsite and with recommendations for exploring the area. And makes the tastiest Welshcakes in all the land!

Mi è piaciuto This is a real working farm so it was a privilege to be here for three nights. Sue is great - she greeted us with genuine warmth and after we'd set up our tent brought us eggs for breakfast. There was lots of hot water, clean loos and a little kitchen to wash up in, plus a fridge-freezer for guests. As it's not a crowded site we had as much space as we needed and uninterrupted views across the paddock to the next field! Absolutely loved it!

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing- just that due to the drought we couldn't have a campfire, but maybe next time!

Mi è piaciuto Loved every minute of our stay at Pennybridge farm. The warm and friendly welcome from Sue, the fantastic (and very clean) facilities, the peaceful and calming environment, Welsh cakes ( a beautiful complementary gift) and the fantastic beaches near by. We stayed 5 nights in ladybird bell tent. Sue also took our daughter and friend under her wing and introduced them to the animals and picked them up each morning and took them to assist with feeding. Blob, sweet cheeks and skittle will be a forever memory! If you are looking for a peaceful retreat Pennybridge farm is a very good choice! Hopefully we will be back next year.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! BellTent was beautiful & very comfortable. Facilities are amazing making camping with kids a breeze. The owners were so welcoming & accommodating & even brought us a little afternoon tea of homemade scones which was a lovely touch. Definitely be visiting again as soon as close to our favourite beach too.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely clean campsite, run by lovely people who even brought us cakes 🥹 our bell tent was set up so lovely and we were able to purchase fire wood so really enjoyed doing s'mores with the kids on the fire pit they provided!
It's close to some amazing beaches like fresh water and angles, we had a great time!
