Camping at Beca

喜欢 What an amazing stay!! Enjoyed 5 nights here and we loved it. A very large field so you can be as close to the park and bar or as far away as you want. Very clean toilets and shower block and very clean composting toilet. Everything cleaned daily. Lovely little bar with great prices. On one of the days we stayed they were holding a rally with the Teifi Valley motor club. We were informed before our stay but it didn't bother us as my husband and boys loved it. Even though it was on all day it was still peaceful on the camping field. They held a disco and karaoke and we were allowed to join if we wanted to. Great phone signal so you can use your own data for Internet. This is a bonus for our older boys! All in all a fantastic stay with great friendly owners. We can't wait to come back.

喜欢 It was a fabulous site stunning views around of beautiful countryside. Loved the bar . Clean showers and toilet facilities.

不喜欢 Had a 18th party with loud music running till 12. owner was snarky and didnt seem bothered with complaints. There were at least 10 tents with young children listening to 18year old kids swearing and throwing up.

来自经理: We had 25 groups staying that weekend, never been so busy. this family and one other complained. One person was ill in one of the toilets on the Saturday night, but was cleaned up immediately within the hour. Our toilets are known by many over the last 3 years that they are the cleanest toilets they've ever seen on a campsite. Cleaned 3 times a day and refilled with toilet paper. Music was on until 12am as requested by the 18th birthday party. there was no trouble on site what so ever. Delighted to say that every other party said they cannot wait to return. One family even told me this morning, this was the best campsite their children had enjoyed most, maybe because of the lovely weather and the water slide? The snarky owner refunded the money immediately to the other complainant the following morning.

喜欢 We absolutely loved our family experience camping here! The play area was perfect for the children, with even enough space for balls games etc!
Bar Beca was also a brilliant set up 👏
The toilets were always clean and smelling nice!
Nice little walk off from campsite and the added few animals added extra entertainment for our children! The host was lovely, approach us on arrival and when leaving, otherwise was very chilled, relaxed experience and will definitely be back, with extended family members. We cannot fault anything!

喜欢 Excellent views of the surrounding area in good weather, but is a little exposed if it's inclement. facilities well kept. Two lovely hot spacious showers, but no hot water at the basins. Two toilets clean but had sensors on the lights which could ideally have a longer timer on them as they would switch off whilst using them. Reception pleasant and the communication courteous as we forgot to pay on arrival.

喜欢 Literally just got back from 4 nights at camping@beca in wales.
We all had an amazing time & really loved the site & location 😀 the bell was deceptively spacious & comfortable for the 5 of us 👍
The owners went above & beyond in making us feel welcome & that nothing was too much trouble (they even turned the generator on in the bar so we could charge our phones)!
We will definitely be staying her again & recommending to friends & family.

喜欢 Location has spectacular views and is truly off the beaten track. The hosts were very friendly and made you feel at home at the site. It’s a really small site which means you’ll only see a couple of other campers, farmers and locals visiting the bar. It’s a great place to use as a base for Pembrokeshire and have a fun glamping experience. If the weather is dry you’ll have a great time, if it’s wet you’ll need wellies and accept it’s going to get muddy.

If you hate mud, wasps and basic toilets best look elsewhere 😀

不喜欢 Facilities like toilets and shower are basic so you’ll need to be prepared for that. The tent we had was fine and had everything you’d need for basic camping like kettle, cups etc, it had enough beds for 2 adults/3kids which meant we didn’t have much drying place for wet clothes/coats, maybe some hooks would be good.

不喜欢 No warm welcome - lady behind bar was too busy chatting with locals to give us any information on our arrival other than 'our tent was fourth along'. Bearing in mind we arrived at 9pm and it was getting dark, I found this very rude and inhospitable. She didn't even want to take my payment when I offered it to her, telling me tomorrow night would be ok. The tiny bar was packed full of men drinking and I felt very uncomfortable walking through. It almost felt like I was disturbing them by turning up to camp!
No log burner in bell tent as expected - instead we had a small heater (that didnt work) and a small gas camping stove. No fairy lights as advertised either.
Beds were comfy but bottom valance sheets were unwashed. Floor was damp. I realise this can’t be helped in a tent but no effort had been made to cover the big muddy puddle right at the entrance to the tent.
At around 11pm myself, my 24 year old son, my 18 year old daughter, and my 7 year old daughter made our way to the toilet block next to the 'bar' to brush our teeth before bed. The lights didn't work in either of the toilets (apparently due to other campers leaving the lights on before us - they are solar powered – in which case I think the solar power system needs to be changed pronto!) On our way back to our tent we were almost knocked over and killed by a local man driving down the dirt track to the bar at a dangerously high speed!! I had to literally push my small daughter out of the way of the car! He was driving so fast he didn't see us - even with our torches on! He skidded to a halt outside the bar and when I shouted out to him he approached us and looked shocked and he profusely apologized and explained it was his 'local' but it was too little too late. That made my mind up I was leaving as soon as possible the next morning. That, and the fact that the tents are actually pitched just a hedge away from a road so you can hear passing cars all night. In day light, it was clear to see the place has been neglected. There was broken furniture and broken fairy lights in the outside seating area by the bar and everything looked worn and uncared for. The bar itself is not 'family friendly' and is obviously just a meeting point for local lads and not equipped for children atall. The small play park looked ok (albeit worn) but the whole place had a weird vibe and there were police cones everywhere and we noticed there were no signs asking drivers to drive carefully nor under 10mph, which might explain the near miss the night before. Myself and my children couldn't wait to get out of there. The campers next door to us had a bad experience too - a dog found its way into their tent at 4am and stood growling at them until they managed to shoo it away! We are very used to wild camping so it was not a case of us expecting luxuries - we just expected a polite welcome, facilities as advertised, and a more natural environment. We were gone by 8.30am the very next day (we were supposed to be staying for three nights) and I am so pleased I did not pay the full balance as I suspect I would've struggled to get a refund.
