The Crown Inn and Campsite

喜欢: Cabin was small but cute, booked for my sons 10th birthday. (Could of done with cups, cuterly ect in the cabin like there is in most cabins) there was fridge & kettle)

The kids loved the added alpaca walk/feed and animal encounter that I paid extra for.

不喜欢: The only thing I could say is I don’t think the firepit and wood was worth £15.

喜欢: We really enjoyed staying here over the bank holiday weekend and the sight had everything we could have wanted. Our young children loved the Alpaca walk, easy access to paddle in the river and the use of the hired firepit. Customer service was friendly and the food at the crown inn was great too.

不喜欢: The cabin was ok for the 4 of us but wouldn't have advised 7 people staying in there, from the website photos it did look slightly larger but served us brilliantly.

喜欢: Hidden gem! Impressed start to finish, host was brilliant. Great pitches with lots of space. Absolutely stunning scenery & so peaceful. A little sun trap. Pub was fab, best Guinness in wales! Lovely to be able to interact with the animals!

喜欢: What a fabulous site!
Very friendly and welcoming staff, the owner Richard was often around checking everyone was ok and making sure the toilets and washing up area were clean and ready to use.
Loved the river husband and son enjoyed fishing and caught a few small brown trout. Girls loved splashing about in the river and meeting the Alpacas.
The pub was very friendly kids enjoyed the pool table and some tasty drinks in the sunshine.
A very quiet and peaceful site which we would definitely recommend.

不喜欢: The distance from home if it was closer to us it would be a regular trip for us!

喜欢: Great location, busy as it was bank holiday but friendly and well managed. Great sized pitches in the field opposite. Noise was kept to a minimum through the night. Lovely pub too. Minimal facilities but well thought through and respecting the environment.

喜欢: What a wonderful space. The owners were so friendly and they've created a fantastic campsite. The pub is a brilliant bonus with the best beer garden we've ever visited. Loads of wildlife - bats, birds, lambs and so much more. Two wasn't enough so we'll be back.

不喜欢: Whilst it was a bit of a walk to the toilet they were well maintained and we do love a composting toilet.

喜欢: Very relaxing stay, had alpacas, chicken and sheep that you could feed!
Pub games, such as darts and pool which we enjoyed playing.
Great food and extremely welcoming and friendly hosts!

喜欢: Brilliant staff, very accommodating to 3 tired cyclists, provided place to keep the bikes overnight and extra bedding free of charge. Great friendly atmosphere in the pub, locals were a good bunch too! Highly recommend, would stay again

喜欢: We loved every minute of our stay, very easy to find. The staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome. Pitching right on the edge of the lake and waking up to that view every morning and watching the sun go down with a camp fire was just perfect. The pub having a pool table was added bonus for us🙌🏻 and the food in there was amazing 🤤. We will definitely be back😁

喜欢: From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, we have never felt more welcome, settled and at home.
The location was beautiful, the atmosphere was great and the bell tents were perfect.
On arrival we were greeted by the family owners, they welcomed up, introduced themselves, given us lots of useful information, and just generally made us feel at ease.
We settled and then went to the pub for dinner which was delicious, the local pints were also very beautiful and also very well priced.
We will definitely be returning very soon!
