不喜欢 Did request to be closer to the toilets and I was given a pitch that was no where near them. There was pitches available but was told it was fully booked which it was not. £6.50 a pint which is expensive but I kinda expected that. No check in staff after 5.30pm so you get put through to the security that can’t really help you. The entertainment was shocking with the singers being very loud.. my Apple Watch kept warning me about how loud it was. We ended up going to a local pub to avoid it all. No WiFi to connect to in the camp site

喜欢 Ty Mawr offers some great activities for children, unfortunately during our recent stay several were cancelled or changed to different versions. Some of the activities seemed slightly poorly managed however the children seemed to have fun and that is the whole point of choosing Ty Mawr. During our stay we ate at all the facilities, The Boathouse food was typical chain pub grub with a slightly higher price tag. The Chippery was expensive and the portions small and nothing special, PizzaBox was nice food but expensive if compared to similar Pizza takeaways, Loaded was extremely poor portions making it extremely expensive the photos attached show what was received, unfortunately this was part of a delivery on our final night's stay and we didn't raise complaint. Oh I nearly missed Scoops, this was a sweet treat and probably on par price and portion wise to similar outlets. The Touring site when we first arrived seemed well managed and clean it was at the quiet end of the touring season, however, unfortunately towards the end of our stay it was a bit haywire with caravans, tents and campers parked in what seemed wherever they wanted, and not as would be expected after reading other reviews, with 2 plots taking up 6 or more spaces, with vans, cars caravans & a motorhome all being draped by wind breaks which seemed unfair compared to other plots. The touring toilet and shower facilities even though in low volume usage could become slightly dirty so getting the timing right became a must. Was this break enjoyable? Yes, was it value for money? Not as a whole.
We would return to Ty Mawr but would definitely look to utilise more of the local area as it offers at lot locally, there is plenty of shops and eateries within a short walk.

喜欢 Entertainment was very good. Staff polite

不喜欢 Portion of chips from chippy expensive for what you get. Disappointed with sat night bingo went to join the line to buy ticket to be told line was shut, was only 7pm so probably needed another member of staff to help with ticket sales. Serving staff in entertainment little to keen to take glasses I lift half a glass of my drink as it was taken before I even noticed and I saw another woman have to grab hers back before they took it. Neighbours in van next to us kept driving over the grass to get to their pitch which meant them driving over our cables everytime

喜欢 Spent 5 nights here in half term (leicester) and it was very quiete but still loads on to do, we got the midweek passes and the kids loved all the activities. Toilets were clean and tidy all of the time.

喜欢 The site and facilities were lovely and very clean. There was only us and another caravan that arrived the same day. The staff were friendly when you saw them.

不喜欢 We didn't get much sleep as the caravan opposite got raided by police 2 nights on the run. Although this is not the fault of the caravan park no one came to speak to us to apologise for the disturbance and see if we were ok. When we spoke to reception they said if Police needed to be on site there is nothing they can do. Not the point, where is your Customer care?
