Thrills in Rhyl or getting out to play in Colwyn Bay: both are in easy reach of Ty Mawr Holiday Park on the north Wales coast – along with gorgeous beaches, market towns, charismatic castles, and the inspiring scenery of the Welsh mountains. This buzzing, family-oriented park is great for kids: they’ll spend hours whizzing down the flume into the indoor pool and running around the large outdoor playground, and can join Sparky the rabbit and his Krew in the free kids’ clubs for all ages. There are also plenty of organised sports activities on offer. In the evenings, the whole family can enjoy a knees-up at the all-singing, all-dancing entertainment bar, where live bands and cabaret make a regular appearance, as well as fun theme nights and competitions. The various food options on site include plenty of takeaway choices at the Rendezvous diner and the Boathouse bar and restaurant. Modern amenities include toilets, showers and heated changing areas.

喜欢 The main complex was very good and the food and staff in the restaurant was first class.

不喜欢 Very poor shower and toilet block on the dog pitch field. Plus the roads were just gravel instead of tarmac. We felt like second class citizens compared to the static caravans. Come on parkdean, spend some money!!

喜欢 easy to get to and easy to get around the pitch. cheap accommodation

不喜欢 The pitch was nothing like the image on the website. Very built up with static caravans. Site facilities are a little tired and grubby. Lots of the activities advertised on the website were not running or available at the time of our stay which was disappointing. Quite noisy as we could hear the road from our pitch, even late at night and early morning.

喜欢 Enjoyed everything about this site , clean . Food was lovely . We came in our own caravan .. this was our second weekend in our first caravan and we had a great time .

喜欢 Large pitch on Meadows area.
Staff were, overall, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the young man who was amazing with all the kids, and adults, at the High Ropes, but he delivered outstanding, empathetic service, even under pressure.

不喜欢 It became clear during our week that the park is run with very little staff who are stressed and so customer service sometimes deteriorates because of this.
Rats were seen at the site bins.
Table areas were not cleared and remained dirty at the main reception area.
Wifi only good at reception area.
