喜欢 Quiet, location, dark skies, off lead dog run - more campsites should have an off lead dog run - this one even has some toys in a basket at the gate, very clean shower/toilet block, observatory, dog wash, family shower rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, laundry room, sink and fridge in laundry room, hardstanding plots are very level, nice water features from back of site office.

不喜欢 Some roads were not suitable for towing a caravan, if you use a normal sat nav like Google, you will possibly end up on narrow single track roads like I did in the dark! Not the campsites fault, just a warning to others to plan your route and maybe use a caravan sat nav, I downloaded an app after arrival and paid £20 for a year navigation for caravan routes. Lesson learned for myself.

We always try and advise the best routes to take with a caravan on the back as Sat Navs can take you down so narrow country lanes to get here but its great to hear there is an app avalible to help with this.

喜欢 Beautiful park, lovely riverside pitch and excellent facilities.
Customer service excellent- some inconsiderate person allowed their dog to foul our pitch and the lovely reception staff dealt with it immediately.

喜欢 Pretty much everything. The park was quiet and well maintained, the facilities were clean and the showers actually had hot water unlike most touring parks. We were unfortunate that hurricane Amy blew through as we arrived, so we didn't get much use out of our telescope, and none out of theirs.

不喜欢 The site had WiFi, but it didn't allow us to connect to the internet.

Hurricane Amy also made her presence know with taking out the broadband in the local area, so that may have been why you were unable to connect to the wifi.

喜欢 Space of the pitch and access to EHU, water and drain all in one pitch. The dark sky at this site was amazing so many stars could be seen.

Comprehensive and clean toilet blocks
Excellent location for Offas Dyke footpath and walking generally

喜欢 Fantastic quality site. Extremely well laid out. Very friendly staff. The dome for star gazing was amazing. One of the best sites we have been to apart from location.

不喜欢 A 20 minute walk through fields in to town. Very limited eateries in town. 3* rating for location as we have a campervan that we pitch up and look to use local transport. This site would suit someone with a car and caravan better.

We are rural in location with Presteigne over a mile away but this does mean we have some fantastic views and people get the peaceful break that they need. I'm sorry to hear that there were not enough eateries in Presteigne, they do have a lovely selection from an Italian, Chinese and a Chip Shop.
