Rockbridge Park

喜欢 The site is very clean, spacious, well laid out. The friendly on site staff gave us our information pack and explained where our pitch was. The facilities are outstanding, showers are lovely and hot, and there's a hairdryer provided. Toilets etc cleaned throughout the day. Separate family showers, baby changing facilities. The washing up room houses fridges, washing machine, dryer, microwave, games, dvds and books to Loan. The WiFi coverage is fantastic so much so we could watch TV using our Chromecast. Lovely walks nearby and stream around boundary of touring pitches. Dog exercise area and very good, clean recycling/rubbish area with wasp traps so nothing buzzing around the rubbish very nice touch.

The grounds are well kept, beautifully landscaped and the telescope is a wonderful addition to the site as it is in the dark skies region of Wales.

We would definitely visit again.

喜欢 The sight was very well kept.

不喜欢 The timers on the showers are far too short compared to other places we’ve stayed.
Consider upgrading your hair dryers.
Washing up room smelt of urine.
Wish there had been a children’s play area!

喜欢 Gorgeous location and views, peaceful and friendly site, very dog friendly. We particularly appreciated the dog exercise area and being able to go right down to the river. The static caravan was really comfortable, clean and well equipped. We loved the seating areas on the verandah too.

喜欢 Absolutely pristine pitches and landscaping. Wonderful welcome and goodbye from the staff. Our pitches were next to the river and we were able to talk to the cows when they came for a drink! WiFi really good and loved the dog wash and dryer!! My sisters dog loved the dog park and made lots of friends. The dark skies were incredible. Very chilled

不喜欢 The star gazing dome was too dirty to see the stars and we couldn’t work out the telescope. Not much to do for under 12s.

We do have some amazing pitches along the river here with the animals opposite grazing which you get to enjoy. It was so nice to see yours sisters dog having great fun in the dog walk with all the other dogs, zooming around. Our darks skies are incredible here and the things that you can see can blow you away. I have taken on board the comment about the dome.

喜欢 This is a brilliant camp site, we were pitched right next to the stream which was amazing. The telescope in the dome for night time star gazing is a great addition! I feel the only things missing from here are the ability to have a campfire and more for kids to do, a little play area would be the cherry on the cake for what is a great site.

不喜欢 No campfires allowed, not much for kids to do, plasters in the men’s showers for the 3 days we were there.

We would love for people to enjoy campfires here at Rockbridge but unfortunately we had a fire in one of our bin bays last year which means we had to change our rules on them. We have taken on board the comments with the children's play area.

喜欢 Everything, facilities and grounds were immaculate, modern and well maintained. The staff were amazing.
Loved the star gazing pod.
Nice quiet site, where children have plenty of room to play and be children.
The dog walking area was fantastic, my 2 spaniels did not want to leave, plenty of room for them to be off their leads and run, they even have a dog shower and dryer on site which was perfect after my dogs went swimming in the river. The river has very shallow parts for children to paddle in also.
Our children are 8 and 14, and they had a great time.
The site is remote, but perfect if your are looking for some family time and looking to explore the beautiful scenery.
Upon arrival we got a welcome pack which contained 2 activity packs and pencils for the children and 2 tennis balls for the dogs , great touch!!

Having the river running through the park means that everyone can get chance to enjoy time to play around in the river.

喜欢 Beautiful, well tendered, quiet site. The shower block and facilities had everything. Even an iron! Helpful staff and lovely walks. Also close enough to walk into town where there are lovely pubs, shops tea rooms etc

不喜欢 Nothing at all!
Maybe the sheep and cows a little noisy at night! We had earplugs, so no problem
