喜欢: Amount if space we had was great.
Kids and dig could run around.
Kids loved games room onsite.
Toilets and showers kept very clean.
Staff very friendly.

不喜欢: Weather was bad! Not campsites fault!

Disliked nothing about this site.

喜欢: Well run and spotlessly clean site, with all the facilities you'd need -loo's, showers, wash up and laundry. Small games room is a nice touch too. Pitches are a good size and set well back from the road. Only 15 park-ups so doesn't feel crowded or get noisy. Large field for dog-walking by the river. Dog-friendly cafe nearby and a good location for exploring all D&G has to offer. The owners clearly put a lot of love and work into the site and it shows.

不喜欢: Not a 'dislike' but a poo bin by the dog field would be handy and some more recycling facilities nearer the pitches.

It means a lot to the team when they get appreciated for all their hard work and attention to detail, from how the site looks, to all the facilities we have to offer, to make sure our guests have an enjoyable stay with us.

We are pleased you liked our large field for dog walking. It is something we pride ourselves on and why a lot of our guests return with their 4 legged friends.

Denise with reference to a doggie poo bin by the dog walking field, there is a green refuse bin at the bottom of the path from the dog walking area. The recycling facilities are only a short walk away, compared to some sites where they can be a longer walk away.

喜欢: Very helpful staff with great areas for pitching up with tourer, clean and tidy toilet facilities along with the site as a whole.
great space within the dog walking area to allow dogs to get a good run and a swim down within the river.
great additional touch with WIFI access given at site

How lovely that your dog/s had a good run in our dog walking field and a swim in the beautiful river on site.

Unlike many other sites who charge for Wi-Fi ours is free to all our guests, so we are pleased you thought it a great additional touch.

喜欢: Large easy to manoeuvre onto pitches. As previously said on another review, as it's a new site maybe adding fully serviced facilities or even just water on each pitch would have been a bonus. Also shower and toilet facilities aren't enough. But as the touring site wasn't full it wasn't a problem for us. The shower was fantastic, powerful and hot. Also thank you to Margaret a resident on the site in one of the beautiful lodges for letting me use her whirly clothes dryer to dry my washing. The games room with all anyone could require (if in a tent) are great. We enjoyed our stay.

不喜欢: Nothing really. Only thing would be nice to have more than one shower cubical. But the one on site was excellent.

Our Wi-Fi on site is free & we are pleased Norman that you found it Fantastic.

Norman you did say it would be nice to have more than one shower cubical, BUT we do. We have a further 2 showers/toilets, one being a wet room for easy access, a short walk away next to reception.
