喜欢 Very friendly and helpful, lovely location, great value.

不喜欢 Would have scored a lot higher except for mucky potholed lane to site. Cow muck puddles were 150mm deep and you had to drive and walk along it.

Your stay coincided with Storm Austen and further rain that weekend, which made conditions worse. We honoured your booking because we didn’t want to leave you finding somewhere else at short notice. In hindsight, we should have explained the conditions and given you the choice.

However, we do struggle to reconcile your scores with your comments. You describe us as “very friendly and helpful” but give customer service 5/10, and say “great value” but score value at 4/10. You also give Wi-Fi 1/10 when we don’t provide it.

We’re a wild camping site, with water and waste disposal at the farm. We accept the criticism of the lane, but we’re disappointed that the overall review gives such a different impression from the positive things you’ve written.

不喜欢 Shower but know they don’t have facilities so not an issue

喜欢 Very peaceful and quite due to adults only which I love, yes I heard the odd bell here and there but it’s the cute little cows waking back on their evening walk with a little bell on them, lovely morning views and I didn’t notice until I went to hand money in the next morning that they had a little coffee machine and milk thingy, so cute, I already made a coffee on my gas stove but was lovely and had a great quiet weekend away. Thankyou everyone so much, great place and will probably be back if I am passing thru again

不喜欢 Map, where the location says it is isn’t, so got a bit stuck down a one way tight road while it said I was at location, unfortunately I was not but Thankyou to two kind lovely people for helping me and telling me where it was so I could drive there

喜欢 We really liked the views, the peace and quiet and the animals as our neighbours.
The owner/farmer was most welcoming to us and although we didn’t need the farm shop, it looked excellent

不喜欢 We didn’t see the fresh water, not wishing to invade other people space we would have struggled if we hadn’t brought water with us and had family nearby. We didn’t see the chemical disposal either so we took our toilet home. We were a bit short of time on our arrival and went straight to visit
our family in the village. The track was very rough and that worried us with a new motor home, along with the tight entrance.

喜欢 Lovely views, friendly staff and a great farm shop. Vodafone and O2 have fantastic signal here, no problem streaming films. I can't comment on other networks as these are the only networks we have.

不喜欢 The farm road to the pitch is uneven and therefore bumpy.

喜欢 Basic site run by very friendly people in a little oasis off the beaten track but not far from city & motorway links.
It’s a nice little field with stunning views.
I loved the farm produce for sale too.
I’ve seen reviews marking this site down for lack of facilities, but it’s in the site description that there are no toilets or showers. You need to be self-contained. There’s elsan waste disposal and a water tap, so not exactly wild camping!

不喜欢 1 grumpy camper who told me I was listening to the news too loudly at 11am in the morning, but hopefully I’ll never see him again!
