喜欢 This location is stunning, such a beautiful scenery and easy to find. Clean and generous spaces and accessible everywhere. The bathrooms were great, spacious with a great shower and clean toilets and facilities. The owners were welcoming and kind and had a chat or two but generally left us to it. No issues with electric or water and got the benefits of been on a slight hill so could see the fantastic views. Was a busy campsite but no noise or music "out of hours". They do allow dogs and had a little small holding so animals were around, lots of wildlife. Nice little pond near the reception area, and close to the canal! Just wonderful!! Not sure if there was WiFi as we didn't need it, we were on holibobs!! We have decided we will be back in a short while too!

Decent sized pitches
Water & electric on pitch

不喜欢 Not very clean on arrival where to go (us and a few others ended up in the narrow boat reception as no signs) and no one around, you have to go up to what seems like someone’s house to check in

Toilet/shower block was unisex which is slightly off putting, and needs updating as very dated/old.
Could maybe do with a toilet/shower block & washing up area on the second field as it’s quite a walk to get to but not the end of the world, and for the price you pay you can’t complain!

喜欢 The access to the site was easy and found my pitch first time with the information supplied by Pitchup. The pitch was large and had the amenities of EHU and running water. The scenery around was excellent especially when it was sunny. Also the site was very quiet and tranquil.

喜欢 Everything!
A lovely quiet site( only 20 pitches). The owners were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the canal from the site with Devizes only about a 3 mile walk along the towpath past the Caen locks. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. We are planning to visit again soon hopefully.

喜欢 Amenities block kept very clean.
Great access to the canal for walks.
Site details emailed out in advance.
Relaxed site - didn’t see the owners and no site “patrols”.

不喜欢 Site was used as a base for large group undertaking DoE awards or similar. No issue with that, other than they had no concept of talking quietly between 11pm and 7am. They also regularly tried to walk through our pitch - over guy ropes - to get to the amenities block.

Appeared to have no site rules - I.e. quiet time between 11pm and 7am.

The Shower and toilet block was cramped and also unisex. Not a huge problem for us but something I suspect some people would want to be aware of.
