Incredible wild camping location

喜欢 We loved our stay. Nathan the host was great. The location is incredible. I've done a fair bit of walking in North Somerset/Mendips, and I think the views on the site might be some of the best I've seen here. Lots of benches dotted around to sit down at and take it all in. I don't think the pictures I've taken do it justice, but it's great. We were after a wild camping type site that we could walk to, and this was it. Peaceful. Surrounded by nature. Amazing views. My son loved it as it felt like an adventure.
不喜欢 Not a dislike really, but it's on the top of a hill and it seems like it can get windy on occasion. I knew about the location, but hadn't properly factored in, so I wish I'd brought some slightly warmer clothes/a jacket. Not the campsites fault though, just my own.

喜欢 Phenomenal 😊 spent 3 days here with my partner and two young children 2 and 4 years.
The view, the site and owners
We got there later than expected and they were incredible. Our pump broke he came with his generator pump.
The sun sets we're breathtaking. The view and site. We sort hot air balloon and paragliding.
Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be going back.
The toilet wasn't flushing as he was still working to get everything up and running.
不喜欢 Doesn't have a shower.
The road to get up is very rough.
