Highlands End Holiday Park

喜欢 We absolutely loved every minute of our stay the location was to die for the staff was very friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for you we are planning to go again this year we was very upset that we had to leave i recommend this park to everyone

不喜欢 I honestly Truthfully have nothing to dislike

喜欢 Clean facilities, beautiful views. Easy check-in.

不喜欢 Restaurant unorganised. We were moved because we didn't see the small sign about dogs. Then upon ordering at 6.20pm we were told no more food orders.

喜欢 The layout, location and cleanliness

喜欢 Great pitch, lots of space. Facilities were superb, very clean and tidy.

喜欢 The site is in a beautiful location with views of the countryside and sea . The pitches are very spacious . We had to use ramps but we never find that an issue . There are some pitches with a sea view but you have to be lucky to grab one . Having said that we still had sea glimpses and views of the surrounding hills so no complaints . The shower block is clean . We paid to use the indoor pool once which was ok . There are great walks along the coast and I walked inland to Bridport . It’s quite hilly for walking but the views are worth it in my opinion. I can imagine it could be a very windy site during inclement weather , something to bear in mind . I would book again . The New Inn is a 15 minute walk from the site , we had great service , generous meals and excellent beer, dog friendly too .

不喜欢 Just a couple of minor grumbles;
1. My husband had to wait for a shower one day.
2.The indoor chemical toilet disposal was a bit whiffy , not experienced that anywhere before .
3. Leisure changing/shower facilities a bit shabby.
4. No fruit in shop when we went in.

That said , all minor and would stay again .

喜欢 Loved the views and the shower/washing facilities were good.

不喜欢 We tried to eat in the restaurant a couple of times, but was told on one night the only food option was pizza. Then the next day, they didn't have the food from the menu we wanted either. It wasn't busy in there. We also felt like it opened for food orders at odd times, so it wasn't always available when we wanted it. However the staff were friendly and the food we did have was great quality.

喜欢 Camp was well kept with beautiful views. Showers were hot. Restaurant we felt was a little expensive, but overall had a wonderful weekend and would definitely return.

喜欢 Clean shower blocks and glamping pods.Lots of lovely wild rabbits the children loved.

不喜欢 Our pod was unfortunately right next to the play area which was not a problem during the day .From 7 pm onwards this seemed to be the place for unsupervised teenagers to hang around.Both evenings we had to listen to shouting, swearing youths kicking balls and driving remote control cars around the play area. This continued until past 10pm Friday and Saturday evening ruining any chance of sitting out enjoying the fine weather in peace.It also meant our 6 and 8 year old could not get to sleep.
On Sunday morning at 9am we had to listen to more swearing kids whilst we tried to eat breakfast outside. We could not wait to leave.

喜欢 views

喜欢 Lovely location, beautiful scenery and easy access to West Bay. Discovered an unknown to us path that leads to West Bay without having to treck up the beach hill which was perfect for us and our ageing dog.
The facilities are very clean and plentiful and the pitches are kept immaculate.
On this trip we discovered that the campsite lease an off road mobility scooter at a very reasonable price for those that need it and is perfect for getting into West Bay.
Finally, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful and willing to help.

不喜欢 Unfortunately and by no means the fault of Highlands End but our last evening (Friday) was disrupted with a group of people that partied with loud thumping music and shouting until 01:00 - 01:30hrs with no consideration for anyone around them especially as there were mature tourers either side of us and families with very young children too who no doubt needed their sleep.
In spite of this we will be going back.
