Golden Cap Holiday Park

喜欢 Next to the sea, lovely walks from the site. Well stocked spar shop and pub/restaurant 5 mins walk from pitch. Toilet block next to pitches look fairly new and modern.Were very clean and had to use combination lock to get in, so secure. Used laundry room, so easy to use and can tap card or download app to pay. Could see and hear the sea from our campervan. Had a curry van visit when we were there, we didn't use but was very popular and all food was cooked to order. Very peaceful and relaxing whilst we were there.

喜欢 The site is well run, clean and efficient. All procedures are conducted similar to air BNB by email/text which we love. Location is excellent with good local bus service not far away.

喜欢 *Facilities were really well kept. Water was lovely and warm.
*The Shop was well stocked and located
*The beach was lovely (though not Dog friendly)

不喜欢 * The road to get to the site was not suitable for touring caravans at all. It’s about 7.5 feet wide, so the caravan was dragging through the hedge on both sides. Then the end of the road has cars to one side and a brick wall on the other, and is about 8ft wide.
*Pitches weren’t very level
*The concrete pad is off centre, meaning you lose some of the pitch and there isn’t much space between pitches

喜欢 Close to the sea, very nice pub nearby with excellent food and service, toilets very clean, fishing was okay caught many small roach. Girls enjoyed the play park

不喜欢 Caravan concrete stand a bit small and had to get caravan on to it by going over stones first but once on it was okay

喜欢 The campsite was in a great location, right by the beach with stunning coastal walks along the seafront. The hardstanding pitches were great. Facilities were good and clean. We visited Highlands End campsite too and Martins restaurant and shop there were excellent.

不喜欢 The weather was terrible!
The road down to the campsite is narrow and a bit stressful with a bigger van although there are passing places along the way.

喜欢 Location was perfect just a short walk to the pub and pebble beach. Toilet and shower block was clean and warm even though majority of park was closed for winter
