The on-site shop was well-stocked, offering a convenient selection of essentials. We appreciated the variety of walking paths available, including a pleasant 15–20 minute walk to Woolacombe Beach through scenic countryside . The park's location provides easy access to beautiful coastal walks and stunning views.

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, contributing positively to our overall experience.

不喜欢: Pitch Size and Access

Upon arrival, we found that our allocated pitch was smaller than the advertised 10x10 meters, making it difficult to fit our caravan. Fortunately, the staff were accommodating and promptly moved us to a more suitable pitch. It would be helpful if the park provided more accurate pitch dimensions on their website to avoid such issues.

The site's terrain is notably steep, with narrow roads and tight turns, which could pose challenges for larger vehicles or less experienced drivers. This is something to be mindful of when planning your visit.

喜欢: Pitches, positioning, views, facilities, price and location are all 10/10. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had booked longer! We will definitely be coming back regularly:)

不喜欢: Nothing apart from the steepness of the hill, however we got to work our glutes

喜欢: Super pitch was ok, sea was visible but only because the pitch next to us was empty. Shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. Facilities were plentiful and clean.

不喜欢: Indoor pool was very cold. Clubhouse was extremely busy and the entertainment was very loud. You couldn’t get away from the noise.

喜欢: This is a really lovely campsite with good views of the side of the valley and the beach. It’s well maintained and the facilities everywhere are excellent. The food from the clubhouse was surprisingly good and saved us from cooking in the van on lazy days. The pools definitely are a plus side even though they’re aren’t that big and can get crowded quickly. The shop is a nice convenience to have, especially for warm pains au chocolat in the morning. Staff was very friendly everywhere. We loved the proximity to the beach and coastal paths and you don’t need to move your vehicle while staying as everything can be done by foot in reasonable walking distances if you have younger children. The walk to the beach is lovely as you cross through stables and get to see ponies and horses on the way.

不喜欢: The promiscuity: We went during the Easter holiday so it was reasonably busy. There were lots of available pitches but we ended up being right next to several other campers which was a bit frustrating as there was availability for us all to be a lot more spread out and enjoy more privacy and better sea views. The pitches aren’t that big so we imagine it being a lot more suffocating in peak season and wouldn’t choose this place for summer holidays.

The price: It is the most we spent on a campsite ever but it does offer high standards and things to do when the weather isn’t nice (which happened to us as we had a fair bit of rain and strong winds on some days).
