What customers say
This well-maintained park offers stunning ocean views and is highly praised for its kid-friendly entertainment and clean, modern facilities. Guests appreciate the convenient walk to the beach and the well-stocked shop. While most reviews highlight a positive experience, some mention the site's steep terrain, occasional noise, and unreliable Wi-Fi. A few visitors also noted concerns about pitch size and the cleanliness of some amenities.
Summary AI-generated from Pitchup.com customer reviews

Pitch fees are good value. Use your own discretion to use Clubhouse.
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Good price for it's facilities. Toilets and showers were clean. Good clubhouse with indoor and outdoor pools. We didn't use them but they looked lovely.
Spacious pitch. We asked to be near the facilities and they catered for our request.
There is a path from the site down into the town and you can get a bus back up the hill that stops outside. £2.30 each. Dog went free
Disliked Shower are push button. Although there was plenty of hot water you had to hold the push button tap in constantly which isn't very good.
Food prices in club looked reasonable but the shop items were quite expensive.
The drinks in the clubhouse were very expensive. Nearly £7.00 a pint for Cruzcampo. Far to expensive. They do have Happy Hour 5.00 - 6.00pm but only certain beers and drinks are available.

My pitch was spacious, flat soft…
Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (six person)
Liked My pitch was spacious, flat soft grass with nice views. ( avenue 4.1) The adjacent fence was handy to tie guy lines to as there were 40 mph winds one night. Plenty of room for parking van close to tent to enhance privacy and as a windbreak!
Facilities are good, clean toilets, lots of hot water.
The coffee from the machine in the shop is dire and 3 pounds is a rip off.
Staff at check in friendly and efficient.
Nice walk to the dunes or town centre and beaches.
Dog friendly
Disliked Putting tents next to lodges with hot tubs is annoying. People in tents generally go to bed earlier than those in lodges and campers/caravans are more easily disturbed by noise.
The.Avenues are also through roads which makes for traffic noise.
Previously stated on pitch 5 which is small, and right next to bins and road

Very clean facilities and great value for money
Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (six person)
Liked Very clean site, toilets and showers were very modern and spotlessly clean. Staff very welcoming and we enjoyed the in-house entertainment 'Madonna tribute' on the Saturday night. Absolutely no complaints and will definitely book again.
Disliked Nothing really but the WiFi was not very strong on our pitch

Excellent site apart from entertainment.
Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (six person)
Liked Excellent site, super clean and warm toilet/shower block.
Disliked Bizarre evening entertainment - adult entertainment meant to start at nine - thirty we arrived at nine thirty on Friday night to see a strange screeching and whining girl on stage dressed revealingly in white sort of basque thing with stockings and garters ‘performing’ on stage to a sparsely filled yet under 16 age group inhabited dance floor which continued for the entire time it took me to kneck a quick pint and leave, it was no good and inappropriate to be honest. Just to quantify - We are not prudes and in general consider ourselves to be quite liberal

Wonderful staff, well located and very clean
Powered grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked All site staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the terracing makes the site feel smaller than it is. Shop is well stocked, wash blocks were immaculate and the swimming pools are a bonus

Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (six person)
Liked Greeted by the wonderful ladies at reception.
Disliked Not spacious pitches with no privacy. Our pitch was Avenue 5 in the middle of two other tents, one of the neighbouring tents had parked their car on our pitch. The pitch looked tiny, on the side of the road through. I looked previously online to see if they had anymore availability/ an upgrade, which they didn't, but I went back to reception to ask, they had a cottage which was unfortunately out of our price range. So we went back to the pitch to put our tent up, the neighbours were effing and jeffing and shouting at their children. We decided to put the tent back in the car and find a hotel instead.
We had family staying here too, where we asked months ago to stay next to them. We were in a completely different avenue when we checked in, clearly don't listen to request.
We went back to visit family on a different evening. I would be wary on booking on Bank Holidays when all the children/teenagers sports tours our on. Several large group of teenagers having a great time which in lovely to see, but not the environment for little ones, with their constant swearing. We lasted 2 minutes at the park. Even walking outside to the toilets lots of young teens swearing.
Such a shame, I was offered 50% of my money back

From the manager: We’re very sorry to hear that you found your pitch unsuitable and the environment too busy during the bank holiday weekend. We understand that there were a large number of children on site and apologise if their excitement and noise impacted your stay.
We would like to note that these concerns were not raised with us during your time on site. When you spoke with our team, the main reason given for leaving was your partner’s preference to move to alternative accommodation, which you mentioned was not your own choice. Unfortunately, due to the short notice and high demand over the bank holiday, the only available options were outside of your stated budget.
After discussing this with your partner, you decided to seek accommodation elsewhere. At that point, you also mentioned that a neighbouring couple had been arguing, and we’re sorry if this caused any discomfort.
Regarding your booking, we regret that we were unable to place your family groups together when the reservation was made just two weeks prior to a busy bank holiday period. However, we did ensure that your pitches were located within a short 2–3 minute walk of each other.
We hope you were able to find suitable accommodation within your budget and that you were still able to enjoy your time in Woolacombe
