喜欢: The shower block is class and the site is very peaceful. Been building a local pure gym and camping here during the week and we couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve got an we intend to stay here for the remaining time to of the job l.

喜欢: Absolutely stunned by how beautifully kept the site was. Everything was clean and so well looked after.
Beautiful trail to walk where you can spot lots of different insects and animals.
My son age 5 loves the showers, I couldn’t get him out.
Pool was lovely, warm and clean.
Really peaceful site. Would definitely recommend.

We didn’t use the Wi-Fi.

喜欢: Stayed on one of the gravel fully serviced pitches. Plenty of space and well maintained. The staff were helpful and very friendly and the facilities were of a high quality and cleaned regularly. There's a small bar on site and a swimming pool that looked lovely but not open yet. Plenty of walking areas for dogs on site with wooded paths, ponds and an area for dogs to run and play off lead, with an onsite doggy wash for those muddy pets. There's also direct access to the tarka trail.
A short drive to Barnstaple, Bideford and Great Torrington.
All in all an excellent site and I've already booked my next stay.
I would highly recommend it.

喜欢: Pitches were excellent with a good view. Shower block was lovely and clean and warm. The showers were hot and you can control the temperature too. Lovely little bar on site too

The 180 miles of the Tarka Trail are accessible from Smytham Holiday Park, following the route of Tarka the otter from the Henry Williamson book. Elsewhere, hire a bike in nearby Great Torrington for the easy 11-mile pedal along the banks of the Torridge river to Bideford; if walking, head out straight from the site or catch a bus from Great Torrington to explore the four-mile trail from Weare Giffard. The area is a wildlife haven: the North Devon Biosphere was one of the first six UNESCO biosphere sites designated in the UK and covers an area from the heights of Dartmoor and Exmoor down via the sea to Lundy Island. Nature of a different sort can be seen at Bideford’s famed and decidedly individual The Big Sheep and one of dozens of days out in Devon suitable for the kids: take the family along also to the Milky Way Adventure Park, also in Bideford, or to the clay shooting and zorbing of Barnstaple’s Southdown Adventure Park. Plant fans should visit the 65 acres of RHS Rosemoor, a mile from the manor, and Hartland Abbey and Gardens at Bideford, a 12th-century abbey with restored woodland gardens.
