Your Tipi is beautiful space to be in, however it comes with a little work to make it so. Poles and smoke flaps and ropes need to be moved and tweaked to ensure a fire can be lit inside. The canvas is watertight but drips can occur through the chimney and in heavy weather the sound inside from rain and wind can be loud! Once a fire is lit in the evening, you won’t want to go anywhere, the flickering flame and the warmth is so relaxing. You can also use the fire to cook on, there is a grill to rest pans on and paving slabs under the fire bowl for hot dishes. We equip the tipi with fire safety items.
Our loos and showers are rustic and simple, they are located at the top of the field, a short walk from you but this ensures you have a quiet corner of field for your tipi. On site is water & washing up. sink, fire area with scrap wood.
On the farm we have pets! See Piggy the dog (above) plus sheep & ponies. You are welcome to stroke them, they love it!
Nearby is the town of St Just with shops, pubs and cafes. Sennen, Cape Cornwall, Pendeen beaches are all 5-10mins away and the moorland behind the farm is accessible on foot. Access to the coastal path is easy too, just ask for directions!
There is always someone around each day to ask questions, help with things.
