Cornwall's only city of Truro is about 20 minutes away and has a decent amount to do for a day out, including shopping, the cathedral museum, the Hall For Cornwall theatre and Skinner's Brewery Tours – this last not to be missed, says the Featherlake crew. Hire bikes in town for a scenic pedal around the city surrounds.
