Little Croft Cornwall is a cross between wild camping and glamping – a totally off grid site but with pretty much all creature comforts all ready and waiting for you in pre-erected, fully furnished bell tents. And what’s more, this lovely spot is only 15 minutes’ drive from the fab surfing beaches of Cornwall's north coast. This site is on the edge of a working farm, so you and yours have plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and maybe do a bit of wildlife spotting, as there is a large badger set nearby. The eco-conscious owners have undertaken to plant a tree for every booking they receive. Each tent comes with a wooden outhouse for your exclusive use, comprising a compost toilet and eco-camp shower – both have a low impact on the environment as well as allowing you to relax under a proper hot shower. It is an off-grid location though, and there are no electric points on site. It’s a good idea to bring torches (no electricity – no lights) and towels for your stay. The tents are not heated, so pack extra blankets or sleeping bags if you feel the cold. ​Plenty is included in the package though, like a camping stove with one hob and one complimentary gas bottle, a firepit, picnic bench and tarpaulin. Thoughtful details inside your tent: one double and two single beds, cooking utensils and a cool box. Oh – and solar-operated lighting and a charging point for your devices.
