Little Croft Cornwall is a cross between wild camping and glamping – a totally off grid site but with pretty much all creature comforts all ready and waiting for you in pre-erected, fully furnished bell tents. And what’s more, this lovely spot is only 15 minutes’ drive from the fab surfing beaches of Cornwall's north coast. This site is in a five-acre field on the edge of a working farm, so you and yours have plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and maybe do a bit of wildlife spotting, as there is a large badger set nearby. The eco-conscious owners have undertaken to plant a tree for every booking they receive. Each tent comes with a wooden outhouse for your exclusive use, comprising a compost toilet and eco-camp shower – both have a low impact on the environment as well as allowing you to relax under a proper hot shower. It is an off-grid location though, and there are no electric points on site. It’s a good idea to bring torches (no electricity – no lights) and towels for your stay. The tents are not heated, so pack extra blankets or sleeping bags if you feel the cold. ​Plenty is included in the package though, like a camping stove with one hob and one complimentary gas bottle, a firepit, picnic bench and tarpaulin. Thoughtful details inside your tent: one double and two single beds, cooking utensils and a cool box. Oh – and solar-operated lighting and a charging point for your devices.

Liked: Perfect holiday location for our family, well equipped Bell tent with everything we needed during our stay really cosy and comfy beds/bedding, lovely peaceful location, having our own eco toilet and tent next to our tent was great and really convenient. Hosts were really friendly, on hand should we need anything. Box of chocolate brownies on arrival was a really nice touch. Highly recommend, would be a great spot for families with young or older children. We loved our stay and will definitely book again.

Liked: Little croft was fantastic felt completely welcomed as soon as we arrived. A Very enjoyable stay, the facilities that was supplied was above and beyond our expectations. The beds were extremely comfy. The kids and the dog had freedom to run wild safely. The site was nice and peaceful. Was gutted we did not stay longer. Having cookies on arrival was a nice personal touch. Definitely will be returning. Thankyou

Liked: Loved the rural site and the beautiful tent, everything we needed was provided and it was all super comfortable. The set up is very gentle environmentally, quite romantic and we had a wonderful stay in Cornwall, with lots of sea swimming, camp fires and star gazing. Thank you!
