喜欢 The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Quiet pitches (came on a Sunday).

不喜欢 Quite a lot of flies/wasps. My partner said every toilet was blocked with faeces. Was really unkept.

喜欢 Was a decent site drinks were reasonably priced

不喜欢 Expensive to stay for what you get. Made even worse by the fact you have to now pay for swimming. Wasn’t very clean in the bar area/play centre

喜欢 The View.

不喜欢 Everything else.Worst pitches in 10 years of motorhoming.

不喜欢 Touring pitches are atrocious big drops at the back motorhome pertruding on to the road. roads very narrow on pitches weeds everywhere uneven needs to be looked at kerbs Inches higher than roads don't know how you would get caravan on.no view bushes out of control showers toilets need updating washing up facilities poor no hot water

不喜欢 Just spent 2 nights at beacon fell all i can say is i wish I'd looked at the reviews before. The pitches are the worst I have ever stayed on, weeds coming through the gravel, very large kerbs to try and get onto the pitch, dirty elsen point, road leading to pitches not wide enough to reverse van onto pitch, just awful and for £45 a night your having a laugh 🤬🤬🤬

喜欢 Clubhouse , pool etc all very nice and you can see they’ve invested money into the site

不喜欢 Touring part really needs upgrading
The shower block needs a full refurb , toilets were clean and basins but the showers are not up to scratch

不喜欢 Tiny pitches.
Someone was already in our pitch when we arrived as well, so I had to go back to Reception and get another pitch - I was told it wasn't the first time that this had happened that day. They had no idea which pitches were actually available, so I had to tell them which ones had nobody in them.
Waited 15 minutes to be seen on arrival - everyone was having a chat in the side office and nobody (except the life guard) was paying attention to the front desk.

喜欢 The site was really clean and my son who is 6 loved it. Was very safe for children to roam around and play. The pod was lovely and clean and right facing the toilets which was handy. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.

喜欢 Absolutely nothing to like about this site

不喜欢 - Checked in and someone was already on my pitch, as a group had decided they wanted to pitch next to one another.
- Gravel pitches to deep, and curbs to high so some pitches inaccessible.
- Commercial vehicles everywhere, despite not being allowed within site rules.
- Toilets dirty, despite being early afternoon.
- Whole site is generally unkempt, broken glass outside the bar, grass not cut, litter everywhere.
