If you’re on the lookout for a quiet Lancashire location and you’re a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, set your sights on Strawberry Fields Certificated Location. Only open to CAMC members – and over 12s – this small site is part of a working farm in a handy spot on the edge of the attractive town of Burscough. The spacious pitches here are part of a 10-acre plot that also houses a donkey paddock and unfenced duck pond – a lovely pair of features to check out while you wander around the site. You can also play games of table tennis and croquet or practise your putting skills ahead of a visit to one (or several) of the many golf courses nearby. It’s a fairly simple setup here, with no guest toilets or showers, so you’ll need to be travelling in a self-contained tourer. Pitches have water connections and access to a chemical disposal point but no electric hookup. The generously sized pitches mean you can organise things as you wish, bringing a gazebo or awning and setting up a barbecue or firepit. Dogs are welcome on site, and there are some great places to walk them nearby, including along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath, which is only about 30 metres from the farm. A couple of pubs and shops are also within easy walking distance, as is a railway station for local train trips. You may also like to plan days out in Liverpool or at the beaches in Crosby, Formby and Southport.

喜欢 Absolutely beautiful space. Lovely animals and Adele the owner has a beautiful poodle called Bunty who visits for cuddles and food.
Adele is very friendly and helpful.
I really love this site, it’s so laid back. Park anywhere,no arrival times, no departure times, no size restrictions and Firepits allowed!!!! My wife and I will definitely visit again.

喜欢 Plenty of space and EHU, donkeys and horses for company and a very kind and helpful owner. Walks by the canal close by and pubs for food and drink.

喜欢 Great communication from the owner, beautiful grounds for the site and newly opened.
Was offered electric hook up that wasnt advised on pitch up and the added luxury of a sauna and jacuzzi which was a treat.
Easy walking distance of pubs and bars down the canal into the village.
Horses/ donkeys and chickens as your neighbours and the cutest little campsite dog, whats not to love ❤️

喜欢 Lovely location with walks along a canal to pubs, shops, and train station. Perfect flat field with electric hookup if you need it.

Above all though, Adele, the owner is extremely friendly, helpful, thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make it a nice stay. It felt like I was staying with a member of my family. So Adele, thank you very much and I will see you soon.

喜欢 How helpful and friendly Adele was. Peaceful location nice and clean. Informed neforehand that there were no toilets or showers so you were prepared.
Friendly donkeys and horses to pet.

喜欢 The welcome was lovely,, pointed to water and bin. Told to pitch where we wanted in a very big field and was made to feel welcome ,, had a great sleep was so peaceful,, horses and donkeys in the adjacent field,, will definitely return ,, worth going back to see bunty the little dog on site,, a lovely walk in to the village for something eat down the canal

喜欢 A Very welcoming and quiet site,

There is no Toilet's or showers on site, This wasn't an issue but can be very easy to over sight when booking,

There is a Petrol station very close by.


Overall a very pleasant site and id recommend.

喜欢 Me and my boyfriend came and stayed here for one night. We loved every second!
Adele the owner was absolutely lovely and so chilled. We could have a fire and bbq and we’re basically left to do our own thing, which we loved!
The horses, donkeys and chickens were all so friendly and came over to us in the next field! And best of all, Bunty the dog!!
She made our camping trip, we were obsessed!
Already started planning the next trip before we left!
Definitely recommend!
