喜欢 The site is set up on a moor with beautiful views. It was quiet when we stayed - only one other van - lovely clean toilets and showers. It was an easy walk to a great pub with food in Orton and very peaceful despite the proximity to the M6. Definitely one for a longer visit.

喜欢 Lovely views and soundtrack to nature. We had enough space to feel like we had our own private ‘zone’ and the site wasn’t overly packed which we have found with other sites as this can really ruin a stay and the overall privacy and tranquility. We personally had no issue with road noise in the slightest. Owner was very friendly and regularly checked the facilities to ensure they were clean and tidy.
不喜欢 Outside tap for washing up doesn’t have hot water and showers are basic with low pressure. Could do with a storage bench or similar in the shower as it was a little tricky to wash and change in the cubicle without everything getting wet. Sinks are communal and not in a block which again isn’t an issue but worth noting if you are looking for a little more privacy. This is a working farm and the site to pitch is a field so not the most level but this is part of the charm, just something to note that levellers would be needed for larger vehicles.
