喜欢 Good location to explore.
Close to local pubs and village shop.
Nice cafe at entrance to site.

不喜欢 Toilets could do with a freshen up.
Bank holiday weekend resulting in site being very busy and allocation of pitches uncoordinated.
Pre booked grass pitch but was located on small concrete plot with no area to sit outside.

不喜欢 Horrendous stay at the campsite!!!!

Dangerously overcrowded with triple the number of people crammed onto the site. Tents very close to one another and a high fire risk. Very loud until the early hours and strong smell of weed. Not enough hot water or showers/ toilets for the number of people.

Extension leads were being used to provide electricity to extra tents from the hook up points. Fire waiting to happen. Greed over safety.

Would never stay again and highly suggest no one else should stay either.

不喜欢 It was the bank Holiday weekend and we expected the site to be busy, but it was ridiculously full. Vans and tents were crammed in, absolutely no room to move. We just drove straight out.

喜欢 Really well organised arrival. Dent is an absolutely lovely village with a couple of pubs (one serves food) and a couple of coffee shops. Great walks from the site. Facilities really clean and everything we needed.

不喜欢 The roads getting to the site are pretty scary in a motorhome !! Very narrow at times and some single track roads - so check your route.
The site was very busy - but it was bank holiday weekend. Despite that it felt well organised and was quiet at night.

喜欢 Great site spectacular location - stayed the bank holiday weekend. Rightly so everyone wants to be there. I can only say our experience was more than positive, John hosted us with the upmost regard and couldn’t have asked any more from him. Great pitch / great site / facilities are fine / shop, caffee & centre are all excellent. You have to factor in, it’s picturesque/ popular and damm good, local pubs are great & it’s all in strolling distance. Be back many times I’m sure.

喜欢 Lovely quiet and scenic site. Enjoyed the Heritage center and cafe. Very cute village. Staff super friendly and site well tended. Location beautiful and handy to local fells and The Lakes.

不喜欢 Extra payment for showers( but nice and warm) with timer, felt rushed to ensure enough time to rinse long hair. Showers/loos would benefit from an overhaul.

喜欢 Everything! Greeted by the staff and took straight to the pitch without even getting out of the van. It’s a beautiful location and a very well run site. There is a lovely cafe right opposite to entrance and 2 lovely local pubs within walking distance. The toilets were cleaned regularly and, although basic, served our needs and never an issue. The waste disposal area is well maintained and clearly marked for what goes where. There are some lovely walks along the river and surrounding areas and we can’t wait for our next stay. Dent is a hidden jewel and a beautiful place to visit. It’s definitely our No1 spot ❤️

不喜欢 The only very minor point was the small shower. I would extend the space out to the fence to create a small separate space for drying and changing.

喜欢 The location was amazing, I don’t think I’ve stayed at a better one. Shower and toilets were well cared for, I didn’t mind paying 50p for ten minutes! We had breakfast across the road … amazing! A really chilled out campsite … perfect!
