喜欢 Nice big pitch, and nice quiet site even though there were groups of families there. Pitch 20 was protected from the wind which was good, and we had both vehicles, MH & VW camper on the double pitch..
We didn't go in the pub but there was a singer on and Karaoke on Sat night
Amazing dog friendly walks to Felton, Amble & Warkworth, we were only there 2 nights so probably lots more walks around.
The toilets were clean and satisfactory but we think the site was a little overpriced.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike really, a good weekend was had.

喜欢 Nice little quaint quiet site with a lovely onsite pub so not far to walk! Pitches were of lovely size we had a double pitch so was easy to park up together. Ideal spot/base for walking to Felton, Amble and Warkworth - really lovely walks and safe to let dogs off lead no roads etc.

不喜欢 Thought the price per night was a little expensive for the facilities, though they were adequate we have paid the same price on many other sites when facilities have been immaculate or new.

喜欢 Lovely location , friendly atmosphere in pub. Chatted away to the owner , very nice guy , our wee dog was with us and was made welcome in the bar too.
All round very good place to stay

喜欢 The toilets were clean didn’t use the showers

不喜欢 They didn’t now we had booked which was a little worring but found us a place. Bit of a pain you had to put a PIN code in to use them

喜欢 Site, plenty of space between tents with good facilities for electric hook up and water. Good access to dog walks.
Pub food was good but a pity it closes on Mon & Tuesday.
Quiet site and dog friendly although couldn't walk dog on site?
Friendly, welcoming staff who were helpful on arrival.
Good location, close to Alnwick, a marina and other small villages, even a Morrisons close by.

不喜欢 Showers, although nice and hot the shower tray filled with dirty water so not nice standing in it. Washrooms clean though and plenty of privacy.
A lot of roads closed for repair so a little difficult to keep diverting to get to site.
Wi-fi connection but password in the pub so didn't see it till Wednesday, would be good to add it to arrival paperwork or have a sign somewhere.

喜欢 location near to all of the coastal towns.

不喜欢 cigarette butts all around the tent pitch up area, the grass had them everywhere.
campers doing that are disgusting.
the site had not made any attempt to remove / clear up.
lots of litter also (no effort to clear up over the course of a week).
shower room in need of complete replacing. everything about is was either old, worn, broken and dirty. units, walls, vents, floor.
the name gives it away, you are directly next to a busy railway line that runs from very early and late in the night.

喜欢 Friendly staff.. landlord brill,good atmosphere

不喜欢 Small pitches,looked to be overbooked, general refurb needed in toilet and shower block, although cleaned, would stay again

喜欢 Nice pub on site, with some lovely walks straight from the door. Very handy for a brewery I wanted to visit in walking distance. Toilets and showers were clean and kept clean. Nice private pitch which we were just allocated on arrival.

不喜欢 Not really the sites fault, but as usual a very few lazy dog owners allowing their dogs to do their business on other people's pitches especially when there was numerous signs telling you to keep your dog on it's leash at all times.
Only other negative was that there was never any loo roll in the toilets during the entire visit, just as well we had encountered this before so always carry some with us just in case!

喜欢 It was our first trip touring in a long while. Checking was easy . All the staff and visitors at the site were very helpful and pleasant. Lovely atmosphere and lovely food had a fab time

喜欢 The staff were excellent and welcoming,the pitches were small but adequate,general refurb needed in the toilet/shower block,evening entertainment (karaoke) fabulous,and we heard the food was very good also

不喜欢 A bit chaotic when first arrived,should have come with another couple,but don’t know where they would have gone.
