喜欢: Beautiful scenery, pitchs were spaced out so we didn't feel over crowded like some other sites can. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and as we had forgotten our fuel we were kindly offered a firepit/bbq with wood & fire lighters to rent at a very reasonable price. Facilities were clean and maintained with even extra portaloos dotted around the site for convenience to save going back to main reception area. We only stayed for one night but will be looking to book a longer stay next time & explore the local beaches and Alnwick. My children 8yrs & 14yrs enjoyed cooking on the firepit & stargazing at the wonderful Northumberland skies, it was pretty magical looking around in the darkness and seeing other little fires going. We just needed somewhere to test out our new tent and ended up finding a gem of a site that we will be returning to again!

喜欢: Friendly reception upon arrival and choose the pitch you like. Pre arranged fire pit via text and was ready on arrival. This site is soaked in history and added lots for my kids to research. The showers were immaculate as well as the toilets which were easy to access. This is a working farm and the animal noises were quite funny in the morning. Can’t wait to return next year thanks

喜欢: Loved how spacious the field was to pitch the tent up, give us plenty space to be able to have a kick about with the football, loved how you were allowed fire pits, my young one thoroughly enjoyed toasting his marshmallows!

不喜欢: Slightly remote. No local shop in walking distance.
