Fox Covert

喜欢: A lovely weekend away with the hubby to get away from the hustle and bustle of city city life.
Great location, really flat ground and loads of space to position tent, car etc.
We were met on arrival by Val whose attentive spirit was well received.
A nice 10 minute walk to a lovely village pub which we really enjoyed:
Nice to see children playing in the ample space with balls, frisbees ,bikes etc
Cannot wait to return.

喜欢: Val was so friendly and accommodating. Came round often to see how everyone was. The fields are lovely and well kept. Very relaxing and chilled.

不喜欢: Could do with a bigger toilet and shower block. Two toilets and two showers are not enough if it was busy.

喜欢: The location is brilliant, nice flat pitches with plenty of space. Simple but clean and tidy facilities, no issue with toilet roll as mentioned in other reviews. Val is extremely kind and friendly and made us feel at home. Quiet hours were respected by all campers, we had a lovely chilled out weekend.

喜欢: The location is brilliant, simple but clean and tidy facilities. Gates kept closed so very safe for kids and dogs. Quiet and peaceful location but close enough to local attractions if you want a day out. Val was very helpful and friendly but not intrusive, she gave us some information on dog walks in the area and made us feel very welcome. Nice big field to let the dogs run some steam off and you can watch the horses playing in the fields behind the pitches. Loved it.

喜欢: Very quiet and peaceful site. Short walk into Huby with hourly bus into York was very convenient.

不喜欢: Only two toilets and two showers on site and one toilet was closed as there wasn’t many of us (4 units with ten people in total so we ended up having to wait to use the toilet which wasn’t ideal with a young child). No hand soap in the toilets. No washing up area, luckily we have a sink in our van but I prefer washing up with warm water for hygiene purposes.

喜欢: Val was lovely and very welcoming she walked around every morning to check all was ok with everyone lovely views and very peaceful toilets was clean and shower was clean too. You received a toilet roll when arriving and then could collect another of val if you ran out which was nice to know would recommend if your wanting a relaxing weekend and would return

不喜欢: Only thing I didn’t like is the 2 of each toilet and shower because I went for a shower and that means the other shower couldn’t be used by any one as you get changed in there there is no private space to dry off and get dressed and someone was knocking on the door I am assuming to ask me to hurry up as they was waiting outside so I changed my time to have a shower to afternoon when it was a little less busy other than that it was nice

喜欢: Fantastic base to explore from. Very spacious and quiet. Val is so welcoming and gave us lots of great walking maps for local routes. We will definitely be back to Fox Covert

喜欢: Val the owner was friendly and welcoming. The site was quiet. Plenty of room on pitch. The showers were very clean.

不喜欢: The grass needed cutting. No toilet roll in the toilet but we were given 1 roll when we arrived. Would have been far better to be in the toilet rather than given a roll as we ran out and had to buy our own so take toilet roll with you. Water pressure is to high in toile sink so couldn't brush teeth in there had to brush teeth at back of tent (it was the only sink). Only 1 shower was hot the other was cold. Toilet needed cleaning the whole time of our stay.

来自经理: Hi Michelle sorry you ran out of toilet paper but you were welcome to more if we put them in the toilets the children seem to block the toilets also you say the toilets was not cleaned all the time you was on my husband or I clean them around 5 30 every morning and if they are bad during day they are cleaned we have turned the water pressure down also when we was told it was high both showers are hot if turned up some people turn them down as they like it colder I am sorry you had all these problems Val and John x

喜欢: Beautiful scenery. Pitches as close or as far apart as you want. Electric hook up. Clean showers. Gates closed if a night.

Val is lovely! Good fun and really approachable.
