喜欢 Very peaceful, large pitches and glad to be able to put up more than one tent.
Facilities are basic but clean and well stocked. Site shop had some nice bits in.
Pizza night was great. Overall a nice little campsite.
We didn’t even mind the no cars in the field rule as it gives the place a very different feel and we were for warned and there are wheelbarrows to help you get your stuff to the pitch.

喜欢 This was our first time staying at Prospect House Farm and we were not disappointed, it was everything we wanted. The campsite was lovely and peaceful, located close to both Scarborough and Dalby forest. The toilet/shower cubicles were always clean and tidy and there was a little playground which our kids loved. Fire pits were available to hire and also gorgeous homemade pizzas available to order on Saturdays! The owner, Joe, was so welcoming and provided us with lots of useful info during our stay. We would highly recommend this campsite to our friends and family, we can't wait to come back! 😁

喜欢 Loved our stay at this campsite. The facilities are basic and quite novel but perfectly adequate. The setting is beautiful and a nice walk down the bridleway to Scalby which is a lovely village. The campsite also has a plant nursery which is great!

喜欢 Fantastic site. Great location, clean, quiet and friendly. Basic but all we needed or wanted. The individually cut plots were perfect and the space and safety were perfect for two children to have an amazing time.

喜欢 Really nicely run site in a great location. Very well stocked shop full of a variety of amenities. Friendly staff. Showers and toilets always kept very clean.

We had a great stay and I would definitely return!

不喜欢 Very few negatives so I'm nitpicking really, but if pushed I'd say that the car park is a little small. On busy nights it was sometimes difficult to park without feeling like my car was in the way.

喜欢 Small friendly campsite. Tent pitches are marked out really well - feels like your own space. Lovely views, highlights were fire pit and pizza night. Lovely walk into the village. Shop well stocked and friendly welcome.

不喜欢 Toilet/shower doors have gaps - felt a little exposed so I didn't use the showers.

Scarborough (10 minutes’ drive) has much more to offer than just sandy beaches and watersports (although both of those are excellent prospects). Other options include the medieval fortress, which has expansive coastal views from the grounds, or the chance to make a splash at Peasholm Water Chute – or an even bigger splash at Alpamare waterpark, where the kids can play in the wave pool and on the twisty slides while the adults treat themselves to a spa treatment. There's no shortage of active pursuits at Dalby Forest (15 minutes), which has cycling and mountain-biking trails (including a World Cup MTB trail), a Go Ape Treetop Challenge and forest Segway rides. Younger children, meanwhile, can have fun searching for the Gruffalo sculptures or building a den. If that doesn't give you your fill of wildlife, head to Filey Brigg (half an hour), where the dramatic headland stretches into the North Sea and provides a home to guillemots and cormorants, plus grey seals. If you strike it lucky, you might also witness the odd whale or dolphin swim past.
