喜欢 Quiet, great price, good fishing, full use of adjacent holiday park facilities, nearby great dog walks,, reception staff friendly and helpful.
不喜欢 Recycling only available on main holiday park.

Lovely tent and camping area but won’t come again due to closure

喜欢 Loved the small camping and tent area. Perfect setting for me, quiet, adequate amenities, beautiful setting with lake, pools and clubhouse. Loved camping here. Great pitches, spacious. Shame this area is shutting for statics as I won’t come again then.
不喜欢 Toilets could be cleaner, quite smelly both on camp area and in club house.
Shame the camping and tent area is closing and given to statics. Ruins this camp site and means family and I won’t come again. It’s a shame when money rules as little gems like this are lost.

Very dated facilities, could be a wonderful place

喜欢 Loved the location, loved the outdoors swimming pool. Staff in reception very good and helpful.
不喜欢 The workers who come right close by to a warehouse are very disrespectful, bad language and parking on the camp site.

It had everything we needed.
不喜欢 Chaos on arrival, with people being shunted around because a season ticket holder was in an allocated space, and people moved into spaces allocated for that day, so several people arrived to find their stated space full.

喜欢 The pitch we was given in the end was what I would of expected for the size tent we had
不喜欢 When we turned up the pitch number was already taken by another tent .The electric socket was broken and the the pitch would not of been big enough.I went back to the main site where I was told to go to a caravan pitch this was also being used I went back to main site and manager came over and put us on a empty caravan pitch was not a good start to break.And some other people seemed to have same problem with caravan pitches it was not very organised seemingly on Lonely Farm

不喜欢 Poor quality toilets and showers, we have been told this site is closing October for good hence why the facilities have drastically gone downhill, it would appear the main Carlton Meres site will be bulldozing the buildings in readiness to expand their static caravans, such a shame as we were frequent users of Lonely Farm, think it’s got something to do with Sizewell C workers being accommodated
