Take your wheels along for scenic stays in a peaceful coastal setting in a National Landscape at Woodlands Caravan Park, a smart modern site with stacks to do for all ages. When you’re not out and about venturing around the Norfolk coast and inland – famed Sheringham beach is three miles away from here and both Norwich and the Broads within easy reach for day trips – the park is a comfy base to keep all fed, watered and entertained. There’s a big and enclosed play area with climbing frames, swings and slides; the site also has plenty of room to run around if energy levels are still high afterwards. Options await when it’s time to refuel: a lounge bar for adults with an additional family area, and a clubhouse serving pizzas and bar meals to eat in or take away (the bar also has regular entertainment on a Saturday night in peak season). The site shop has a small selection of groceries and ice cream as well as launderette tokens and Calor gas replacements; gas and electric barbecues are allowed (no charcoal constructions, thanks). Amenities include a well-maintained shower and toilet block with disabled facilities, baby changing and underfloor heating. Woodland is firmly dog friendly too: your dogs can accompany you for a small additional fee. It's also based on a bus route, making transport easy.

喜欢 Nice large open site, good spacing maintained between pitches and the facilities were very good.
Large open forest area for dog walking and it is quite remote.
Waking up to bird song and the sound of the cows was quite nice.
Access to food and drink on site.

不喜欢 Wifi, we were at the edge of the flatter section for camper vans and couldn't get any signal. Showers, very good but no where to change within the cubicle as no benches/place to put towels etc and some were not as hot as you wanted, minor points though.
Bar etc, very nice, dated but nice staff behind the bar, food was limited, could have done with some salad.
Just be aware its a distance from Sherringham! We like to leave the van on site and walk, but it was a long walk and the beaches were not dog friendly!

喜欢 Clean and tidy with very helpful and pleasant staff. The shower blocks were immaculate The club only opened Thursday- Sunday but was nice and clean with pleasant staff and the food was ok.

不喜欢 More water points to cater for Motorhomes there was only one tap in the bottom field. Advertised as having cycle paths but none were apparent. We did go along one path but there were signs saying NO CYCLING and PRIVATE FOREST.

喜欢 Nice friendly people in bar ,and reception, bar should open at lunchtime, if only weekends. The pitches for motorhomes could do with a gravel or hard aerea at side of vehicle to stop dirt on feet.

喜欢 Beautiful well kept site. Lovely and peaceful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Woods nearby to walk your dogs. Toilet and shower block spotless always being cleaned. Great facilities everything you need on site.

This handsome part of Norfolk is part of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape, home to swathes of uncrowded beaches for family days, dog walks, watersports and nature spotting. The closest beaches are Sheringham, 35 minutes' walk away, and Cromer (15 minutes' drive), both also home to historic seaside towns drawing visitors to Norfolk seaside hols since Victorian times. Birdwatchers and nature spotters are well placed too: species of all sorts can be spotted around the area as well as at Sheringham and Cromer. The National Trust’s Blakeney National Nature Reserve, 20 minutes’ drive away, is a fine spot to start your ornithological exploits, at its four miles of shingle, sand dunes, mudflats and salt marshes; also try birdwatching around the Cley Marshes (start at the visitor centre in Cley next the Sea, 15 minutes’ drive away), and the Salthouse Marshes a couple of miles east of Cley. For adventures further afield, the shopping, sightseeing, visitor attractions and restaurants of Norwich are 50 minutes away, and the waterways and more wildlife of the Broads within 40.
