Meadow View Camping and Caravan Site

喜欢 Firstly, I have to say that Meadow view camping and caravan site campsite is a great setting with wonderful views and lovely welcoming hosts! Ron and Christine are a lovely couple and really make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive. It really was a lovely campsite – there were very few others staying whilst we were there and we chose a pitch at the far end of the site.
It was super quiet and the facilities are the best we experienced.on our travels.
The toilets, showers etc. are spotlessly clean and spacious. It was like being in a nice hotel – not a campsite!
It is a relaxed site, where nothing is too much trouble for the owners.

Finally, this is a fabulous site in every way, it was both tranquil and relaxing in an idylic spot.

喜欢 Friendly, helpful, loads of space to pitch. Lovely country side view. Quiet and tidy site with 3 small blocks which are the toilet, shower and kitchen block. Which was everything we needed. A couple movable goal posts but nothing else for kids but our kids are older kids so no issues

喜欢 Very large field which has just 25 pitches so plenty of space.
We were met by owner on arrival, very friendly explained where could pitch up and left for us to choose.

Explained were different places to go, pub im easy walk down quiet lanes.

We didn’t need EHU, owner said we didn’t have to rush off in the morning if we wanted go for a walk etc.

Toilets and showers very clean.
Would highly recommended 👍

喜欢 The facilities were perfect. The location and signage was great. And the owner was very friendly.
There's somewhere to charge your phone, firepits for hire, kindling, marshmallows.... Excellent service !

喜欢 The facilities, friendly owner, location close to the village pub and the coast. Not too busy even on Friday and very dog friendly.

不喜欢 Nothing. Would suggest checking timing on light sensor in the men’s toilet block as can leave you in the dark.

喜欢 The site is all grass and quite level, we don't normally use grass as our 'max and paddy van' gets stuck at the drop of a raindrop but given the drought like conditions it was not likely to happen. We booked last minute and received a warm welcome and a nice introduction to the site which is basically a huge grass field. The amenities are housed in container like pods on one edge and were all clean and quite smart looking. There are only a few EHU pitches, 5 from memory, they are along one edge and are very large. I think price wise it is bang on representing decent value for what it is. I felt we were really getting value for money here. There is a pub close bye in the village but we did not visit preferring to just chill in the sunshine with a tinny.

喜欢 I thoroughly enjoyed this campsite. Very helpful, friendly and informative staff. Lovely space with lots of room for everyone. Facilities are very clean and well set out. Site rules are very clear and friendly.

不喜欢 Limited electric points.
Could do with a common room for social, recreation and kitchen space.
