Your fledglings should love this farm site – and those in charge of the flock are very likely to agree. Park Farm Camping is a family- and dog-friendly site just outside the peaceful village of Swanton Morley in rural Norfolk, half an hour's drive away from Norwich. Run by locals Hannah and Ryan, the site's grass pitches are simple but don't skimp on amenities either; there is a heated shower and toilet block. The pitches are in meadows around a working farm, with wildlife all around and farm animals to see in some of the meadows a short walk away alongside the nearby River Wensum. The village pub and shop are only a 15-minute walk away, although there is also a small shop on site where guests can pick up essentials. There’s heaps of space even in the height of summer for all the herd (including the dog) to run around, as well as a wood to explore and a small play area to swing around – with everything secluded away from main roads for chicks to be safely free range. All this, and campfires are allowed too. Use Park Farm Camping as a base to explore north Norfolk and Norwich, or stay close to home and explore the paths and lanes for walking and pedalling around the Wensum Valley: leaflets and brochures on acres’ worth of visitor attractions are at the Park Farm reception. Wifi is on site for more info-browsing, but as this is a rural location signal strength and speed vary; general browsing or messaging is usually OK.

喜欢 A very warm welcome, very large pitch, useful shop.
Glorious countryside and beautiful walks.

不喜欢 Only that it’s not possible to alter the shower temperature and the button needs pressing every few seconds to keep the water running.

喜欢 Location perfect away from civilization well near enough away it's secluded in the middle of fields and noise whereas the village of Swanton Morley is a quick 8 min drive away and Dereham four and a half miles away, But the site is beautiful with all the amenities one could wish for also the site managers are a lovely couple and so helpful nothing is a problem. The little honesty shop has a few essentials important for your stay but local shops are in the places I've stated already. The pitches are a nice size and accesable to park your rig what ever you drive or live in on tour, Priced about right for what you get and self contained with water and waste on your pitch if that's what you'd like. Also WiFi on tap enough to drive Netflix etc so life can go on for your little ones entertainment

We agree, the WIFI is very hit and miss here. We use Starlink and sometimes it is great and works with no issues, but (for no rhyme of reason!) sometimes it is terrible!! We try to make customers aware of this on our website, site listings and social media as we dont want people being let down or relying on it.

From Norwich, take the A47 towards King's Lynn or the A1065 Fakenham, and take the B1147 to Swanton Morley. At Darby's Free House, take the Elsing Road. Take the second right to the junction, then turn left for Hunter's Hall. Warning: do not follow satnav directions if you are in motorhomes or touring caravans or if towing any trailer. You could pick a beach or seaside town to drive to every day of your holiday at Park Farm too: seal-spotting boat trips from Morston and Blakeney, as well as swishing around somewhat swanky Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market (aka Chelsea-on-Sea) are all within 40 minutes' drive. Within 50, make for the Pleasure Beach (and racecourse) at Great Yarmouth or the crabbing, funfair and zoo at Cromer, both top picks for seaside antics.
