With stunning views over mixed countryside in the pretty county of Worcestershire, Mill House is home to a range of well-maintained pitches and some good amenities, including a toilet block, showers and a handy washing-up area for your pots and pans. Its location also helps it to stand out, as the site is between the scenic River Severn and the Droitwich Canal, a quick 10-minute drive from the centre of historic Worcester and next to an attractive marina. Mill House is a chilled-out kind of place – one where you're welcome to bring dogs along to join the family break and barbecues are permitted for some alfresco eats. Supermarkets, butchers and other amenities are just a short drive down the A449, making it simple to source provisions for your stay. There’s also a local bus route a short distance away, so it's easy to leave the car back at base and get out and about in the local area. Fancy a spot of angling? At Mill House, river fishing is available for an extra fee. There are also plenty of walks and cycling trails along the waterways and in the surrounding countryside to explore during your time here.

喜欢 Very nice site with good facilities and friendly helpful staff.
Toilets and showers are one of the best we have used on campsites, modern and immaculately clean.
The Boozy Box bar serves cans, bottles and spirits and I have to say the prices are really good, other sites we have been on would be charging 40 to 50% more.
Overall a pleasant weekend with canal and riverside walks a plenty and finished off at the Boozy Box!!

喜欢 Clean facilities, easy to get to and easy to travel to surrounding areas given its just off an A road. Very reasonably priced bar.

不喜欢 Lack of signal you can get 15 minutes free wifi/ you can pay by the day/ week for up to 5 devices it was £4 for a day. I would download videos and plan days out before you leave as well as routes you want to travel.

Could be more there for kids.......I will say we didn't look in the games room

喜欢 Sanitäre Anlagen super, wenn der Platz voll belegt ist, vllt zu wenig. Freundliche Betreiber. Schön am Kanal gelegen, toll für Hundespaziergänge.

不喜欢 Direkt an der Straße gelegen, für aufs Auto angewiesen.

喜欢 We received a lovely friendly welcome even though we arrived late due to traffic. The Mill House Team couldn’t do enough for us. Great toilet and shower facilities that were really clean with nice attention to detail. Our pitch was so pretty and really cheap for the amount of space that we had. The sound of the wildlife was delightful, swans, pheasants and lots of birds. The onsite horse trailer bar is cool and the prices are excellent. The seating beside the water with shade provided with umbrellas was a welcome rest. This site is cost effective, efficient, beautiful, friendly and well placed if you’re travelling on the M5.

As it's just a few miles to the north of Worcester (10 minutes' drive), you're sure to want to get into the city to visit attractions like Worcester Cathedral (with its famous Norman Crypt), the timber-framed Tudor House Museum, the Royal Worcester Museum with its extensive porcelain collection and Worcester Woods Country Park (out of town, 15 minutes’ drive), which is great for a picnic or dog walk. Slightly further afield, a half-hour drive will get you into the midst of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a green and grassy range of peaks with lots of hikes to choose from. Head in the opposite direction for a day trip to Kinver Edge (half an hour), an elevated sandstone ridge and ancient hillfort with far-reaching views. Got kids who need to be kept entertained? Cadbury World (40 minutes) on the edge of Birmingham is sure to prove popular with sweet-toothed tiddlers. Other good options in the vicinity of Mill House include the West Midland Safari Park (20 minutes) and Full Throttle Raceway (half an hour), where there's a separate mini track for young children.
