喜欢 Very pleased with our stayed there 2 times and will definitely be coming for a 3rd time.

喜欢 The site looked like it had just had a revamp.
Pitches were a good size, facing the river.
There was a laundry and washing up area.
Good security, gate codes, which were changed whilst we were there. We were contacted by reception and asked to update code.
Clean facilities.
Level pitches.
Location, there are two pubs an Aldi and BM within walking distance. It is also just a couple of minutes off the motorway.

不喜欢 The lower tier which was for the camping, caravans and motorhomes was a long way from the main toilet shower block. The stairs were at the end of each side, which was a long way from where we were parked and some people would have had to walk further than we did. Maybe more steps along the bank?
Steps were very dark, however there were lights along them, which were on during the day, but not at night. Perhaps a timer change would rectify this.
Shower cubicles where small, which wouldn't have been such a problem if it wasn't a fixed headed shower. Maybe change the fixed heads for removable. It would have also been good to have a chair hooked onto the hooks on the back of the shower doors, to sit on when getting dried.

喜欢 Welcome from Jake. Riverside pitch. Proximity to Worcester.

不喜欢 It's half made. Mostly empty fixed caravan pitches. So it feels a bit weird. Toilet block lovely but a long walk from those that need it, i.e. the tourers.

喜欢 There is easy access to this site and the pitches are flat and spacious. There was a warm welcome from Jake when we arrived. Site security is good and there is a supermarket and restaurants close to the entrance. Worcester can be accessed by public transport and from Worcester there are rail links. Even better, there is an enjoyable (40 min ) riverside walk into Worcester.
The shower/ toilet block is brand new and excellent. No charge for showers.
The view of the river and across to the Malverns from the touring pitches is lovely. The site has a very relaxed feel.

不喜欢 There was nothing we personally disliked. The site is under development and clearly is going to be festooned with static caravans before too long. This will give it a different feel. At the time of our visit there are a lot of empty static plots laid. The toilet/ shower block is centrally placed on the site but because of the site levels, from the middle touring pitches there is a short walk to reach them (up a slope or using steps). The down side of the site being easily accessed from the M5 is that there is some constant motorway noise.

喜欢 Access to the river Severn for fishing is great, and in truth the reason we stayed at The Ketch. The site (as described by others) is under a degree of renovation but caused us no issues at all. We had EHU but didn't need to use it. We were met by Jason who was very pleasant, explained everything we needed to know and made sure we knew if we needed anything during our stay to just reach out. We found the pitches to be of a good size, but our playground for 2 days was the river! I would say this site is perfect for those who want to fish or use as a stop off during a lengthy trip. The facilities were clean and tidy, good clothes washing facilities and well lit. It felt safe which is important. Its well documented in some reviews about the distance to walk to the wash and toilet areas. Its absolutely fine for able bodied people, I would say a challenge for those who are not, but still achievable. The toilet areas are positioned for very good reasons and the owners are transparent with the description they provide. The site isnt a Butlins or Centre Parcs but it isnt portrayed to be either. Its a simple, clean and well positioned site, close to Worcester that was perfect for my son and I to create some memories together. We will be back.

喜欢 Peaceful & right on the river. Ideally located to explore the local area.

不喜欢 Shame the hedges etc aren't trimmed so you can see the river better. Toilet block is quite a walk & up a flight of steps which isn't ideal, especially with mobility issues. Showers turn off after approx 5 secs, theres also no where to change. The water all runs to the 3rd shower and starts flooding out into the toilets.

喜欢 Toilets was clean,
Pitch size was ok,
Tidy site,
Quick check in,
Easily accessible of main road with a caravan on

不喜欢 The showers only hooks was on back of doors so your stuff got wet , shower didn’t stay on long enough, no hairdryer ,water went out under the doors , wasn’t enough room to get dressed.three toilets and three showers in women’s and three in men’s,
The wash up for pots was in shower room and no washer,
The only access for toilet was up steps if you had difficulty walking it’s so far away from the touring site it’s closer to the static which doesn’t make sense
The waste you have to carry up steps and walk along way again if you have difficulty walking this is a problem ,
There is a main path anyone can access and walk through the touring park this did make me feel a little unsafe at night , road was very noisy I know this car t be helped but in night sounded like a race track.
There was a massive hill behind where u park you wasn’t allowed to walk over to toilets you had to walk around this site is clean but it felt like it wasn’t thought through for touring tents vans and rvs .

There are reasons why the toilet block and facilities are not near the pitches, They are above.
The first issue is the low level floods!
Second is contamination if things were near the water,
I appreciate your points but wish you would have read the reviews and the terms of site before you booked. I make the same point over and over.
I feel like leaving a 1 for the site is unkind, to say there were plenty of factors you enjoyed!

喜欢 Location is great,.Lovely easy walk along the river seven into Worcester. Right outside the site is a Toby, Harvester, Aldi and B & M's.Warden really helpful and informative.

不喜欢 Walk to the Showers and Toilet block ,especially if you're on pitches 1-15 . Also only 3 Showers and toilets for the ladies and 2 of each for the Men.At peck time this really wasn't enough ,no Toilet roll in two of the toilets and shower cubicle is so small,clothes get soaked .

来自经理: Thank you, yes you have to walk to loo blocks on this site.
The pitches are set along the river bank the toilets are above away from the water.
We have 22 pitches and total 6 showers, we really dont need more, It was bank holiday with respect, clearly the very busiest time.

喜欢 Nice sized pitches with fishing just yards from the pitch & with 2 pubs & 2 shops right outside it’s very convenient as we went to fish

喜欢 Beautiful scenery. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Toilet block is very clean. Good facilities with showers and laundry.

不喜欢 Long walk to the toilet block. Could do with some steps on the embankment in the middle of the tent pitch row. No WiFi.
