喜欢 Wild camping feel and freedom to pick our own pitch, the woods were also great for my son who loved exploring in the day. Friendly hosts and will definitely book again.

喜欢 Fabulous location. Very nature focused with just the right facilities (portaloos, fresh water etc) to provide the essentials without being commercial.
Loved the clear night sky views and the sounds of owls in the surrounding woodland. Owners were helpful and friendly.
不喜欢 We were a bit unlucky to have a group of guys on site who drank too much and kept us awake with their antics until the wee small hours. Shame as the owners clearly try to minimise this behaviour. Probably not a regular event.

不喜欢 Would have stayed longer if they had facilities for a hot shower- this is within expectation because I knew that it was a very basic campsite

喜欢 The location was great, it was of the main drag, woodlands either side and a good size of Greenland to pitch up on. The hosts louie and Holly were fantastic and very friendly. It was the perfect place for me and my grandson ( it was his first time camping at the age of 5). Will definitely go Austin and definitely recommend it. Well done castle gate.
不喜欢 The only bad point of i had to point anything out is the small driver to the pitch. Maybe a couple of bags of sand to try and level the road as some of the bikes were a little big. But that's it....
