Hay Vacay

喜欢 We absolutely loved our two night stay here. The accommodation is of a really high standard, well appointed and spotlessly clean.

Enter through a private gate to your parking area adjacent to the accommodation. The horse box is lovely and we both found our beds comfortable with plenty of pillows. One is a double on a platform bed with a proper mattress, the other is a pull out sofa bed. The hut warm and all the things we needed to prepare easy meals and snacks including a large air frier and a fridge with plenty of space. We didn’t need the heater but one was provided along with extra cosy blankets.

The seperate bathroom trailer is plenty big enough with a lovely hot shower and fluffy soft towels.

There’s an outside decking area with a little table and 4 chairs, and steps down to a huge private grassy garden with BBQ, hammock and fire pit. Plus some outside toys for children. We didn’t manage to make use of the fire pit but had kindly been supplied with some logs.

Our host Laura was really friendly and accommodating, giving us plenty of local knowledge, recommending walks and generally being really helpful.

We walked to the Red Lion pub across the fields (about 30 mins) and would recommend it as a lovely low key place for some good food and a drink. We also visited Carding Mill for a walk and a dip in the reservoir. Church Stretton is a lovely place to look round and visit the independent shops.

There’s no WiFi but we had plenty of mobile signal.

Also a shout out for the delicious home baked cakes that we received on arrival.

This place has definitely been prepared with love and we would absolutely stay again. Thanks for having us!

喜欢 We loved our little family weekend getaway to Hay Vacay, everything we needed was available (including toys for the little ones).
Will be on our list to revisit!
