Switch between the pedestrianised alleys of the ‘city of dreaming spires’ and the mellow hills and countryside tea rooms of the Cotswolds… all on the same day if you wish. Set your base in Greenhill Leisure Park, a family-run and adults-only farm site surrounded by the Oxfordshire countryside in Bletchingdon, within 25 minutes' drive of Oxford and an hour from the Cotswolds National Landscape. There are certainly no shortages of countryside pursuits on hand, with three fishing lakes on site stocked with carp or coarse fish, and a nice selection of countryside rambles or woodland walks from the site. Where to start, with 270 acres to explore? Well, first settle in on the well-maintained pitches. Next, head to the carp fishing lake for a test of strength… the biggest fish weigh up to a hefty 30lbs. Other facilities include a toilet block, launderette and washing-up facilities. There’s a dedicated grassy area for dogs to stretch their legs, if you’ve brought a canine friend along for the ride too.

喜欢 A nice quiet site. Toilets /shower
just round the corner. Very close to Blenheim palace. Nice big field to walk dogs. Though didn't get time to walk the footpath as was at Blenheim every day..

喜欢 Brilliant location, with lovely dog walking on site.

不喜欢 Sadly, I might have this wrong. But it looks like the site is being run down. A new development is being built next to the site and it looks like that will take over. There was only two smaller toilets / showers. The washing up area wasn't clean and the area just looked sad. We stayed there last year and it was brilliant. Didn't see any staff from arrival to departure.

喜欢 We stayed here early sept in our moho for three nights. Pitch was ok needed my level ramps but other then that good with small hedges and trees between. Toilets and shower etc all very clean only has one mens shower down the far end luckily for us the park seems not busy. Nice view and quiet area apart from odd aeroplane. Not used the lakes but they seem all nice and well kept. We arrived on a Sunday at around 2ish reception was closed but all our details were left in an envelope for us.
Would we return ? yes we would.

不喜欢 For us the only grumble is in the three days we have not seen anyone from the park.

不喜欢 Very untidy, grass needed cutting, hedges overgrown. Pitches were small very uneven. Rubbish on pitch and dog muck on grass next to pitch
Toilets OK, showers very tired
Fresh water tap had a piece of hosepipe attached which was into the drain, very unhygienic. Definitely not worth the charge

Next, go where the fashionable people used to congregate, at the historic house and gardens of Blenheim Palace (five minutes) or Waddesdon Manor (35 minutes). At Bicester Heritage (15 minutes), you can delve into a different history, this time of motoring. Or look into the city of Oxford (25 minutes), where grand libraries and cathedrals stand tall. The same Jurassic limestone that forms the hilly walking district of the Cotswolds (an hour) is on show at the ancient stone circle of the Rollright Stones (25 minutes), another old site to add to the trip’s must-visit list.
