喜欢 Nice site, small and well kept, well informed by Alice, close walking distance to the beach and club, bus service into Mablethorpe and beyond if required

不喜欢 Road noise but got used to it, very little traffic late on didn’t stop us sleeping!

喜欢 small adults only site for around 15 or so outfits.
near to beach and shops over at the larger Haven static site.

不喜欢 Site owners sems really nice and helpful and although toilet block is small and a bit out dated it was always clean and presentable.
My main dislike though are other campers with small yapping dogs that they cannot or do not control - this is real pain for me and many other campers that I spoke to. During my 5 days on site there were at least 3 seperate outfits with a yapping dog and even when the site owner was on the site, she did not say anything to the yapping dog owners. This is a real gem of site spoilt by selfish "yapping dog" owners. Note: I love dogs and have a "well behaved" dog myself.

The sandy beach a hop and a skip away from Swallow Park Caravan Site will definitely be the main attraction; don’t leave without a meander along the pretty trails in the Saltfleetby/Theddlethrope Dunes nature reserve, where the marshes and dunes are filled with wildflowers, wading birds, butterflies and natterjack toads. Mablethorpe is small, but has plenty to help you while away a day or two: riding the sand train along the beach, for starters, or admiring the doe-eyed beauties at the seal sanctuary, which also has resident badgers, barn owls and kestrels. You can take in the shops and cafés at Spanish City, enjoy fairground rides, amusement arcades and a model railway, or take in the lively events schedule including the Bathing Beauties festival, illuminations, an annual show, and regular motorbike racing on the beach. Drive north to Cleethorpes or south to Skegness for more seaside fun and games.
