Liked Adult only site. Clean showers and toilets, level pitches, clean washing up facilities. Beach walking distance. Alice was lovely on meet and greet.

Disliked It was a basic field, no views at all and adjacent to a noisy and busy main road. Not peaceful at all.

One shower is not enough.

Not a site we would return to, we have made less for more in other places.

Liked Good communication and met on arrival. Facilities explained as well as getting to the bus stop down the road (few mins walk).
Very clean facilities. Hot water for washing up (many don't!). Good size shower and dry area to get dressed after.
Good size pitches.

Disliked Water pressure in the shower was very slow. Shame as the rest of the shower facility was great.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Great location, great size pitches, very clean, nice walk through the static area of the site to the beach, which is amazing. Bonus being adult only, Alice the warden was lovely and very helpful. Lovely pub just before you get to the beach, handy to quench your thirst after a day on the beach or long walk.

Disliked The adjacent road on occasion can be like a race track, not that it’s the sites fault, we got used to it.

Local attractions

The sandy beach a hop and a skip away from Swallow Park Caravan Site will definitely be the main attraction; don’t leave without a meander along the pretty trails in the Saltfleetby/Theddlethrope Dunes nature reserve, where the marshes and dunes are filled with wildflowers, wading birds, butterflies and natterjack toads. Mablethorpe is small, but has plenty to help you while away a day or two: riding the sand train along the beach, for starters, or admiring the doe-eyed beauties at the seal sanctuary, which also has resident badgers, barn owls and kestrels. You can take in the shops and cafés at Spanish City, enjoy fairground rides, amusement arcades and a model railway, or take in the lively events schedule including the Bathing Beauties festival, illuminations, an annual show, and regular motorbike racing on the beach. Drive north to Cleethorpes or south to Skegness for more seaside fun and games.
