Steal a break getting back to basics on the four and a half level acres of Poachers Patch in the village of Brant Broughton in Lincolnshire – although there's easy access from the A17, this is a peaceful place, set back from the road on the south end of the village's High Street. The pitching area is a long meadow that borders the Sandbeck stream to the south and the River Brant to the east, and has a designated campfire area for all guests to share (ghost stories a must, of course…) and a loo block with hot and cold water. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on site. The local pub the Generous Briton is 600 yards away; it serves food and takeaways, and has a café opposite that's open from Thursdays through to Sundays. Nearby Navenby has a fish and chip shop, an Indian takeaway, a baker, a butcher, antique shops and two pubs.

喜欢 Pretty site, plenty of space between pitches. It was quiet whilst we were there. Fabulous food at the village pub a 10 minute walk away. Lovely walks from the site.

不喜欢 The shower room is spacious with a toilet and sink included but there is currently only one shower room for the whole site and one other ladies toilet. No hot water tap for washing pots.

喜欢 Lovely pitch next to friends. Owners welcome you to site and make sure everyone is ok . Lovely clean shower and toilets. Would definitely recommend a visit.

喜欢 Plenty of space and warm welcome. Good clean facilities, quiet and peaceful and easy check in and out process no bother whatsoever.

Would highly recommend, traveled with a child and dog both accounted for :)

喜欢 Very well maintained site, lovely owners. Plenty of space.
Good level pitches. Very dog friendly!
Gorgeous church nearby and plenty of walking nearby for the dog.

不喜欢 Just 1 ladies loo, could get a bit busy if site was full. 2nd toilet in shower room.

喜欢 Quiet, just a hum of traffic, free wi-fi which had an excellent connection, large field to play games on, friendly staff on site. Clean and tidy.
A great pub with excellent food and a large playground within walking distance.

来自经理: So sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. However, apart from showing you to your pitch, connecting you to the EHU and keeping the site clean and tidy we’re not sure what else you expected us to do.
The nearest pub (which gets fantastic reviews) is a five minute walk away - as it was a bank holiday weekend I expect you would have to book if you wanted a meal
Again I apologize if you didn’t enjoy your stay.

不喜欢 Only one shower and ladies W/C which wasn’t an issue for us as the site wasn’t busy but would see this an issue if full. Although outdated these were clean.

Hop in the car, for day trips are all around from Poachers Patch. Newark-on-Trent, aka Newark, is nine miles away and since 2015 has been home to the Newark Torc, which can now be enviously viewed in the National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum; other sights to see are the many listed buildings in and around town, including the rising spire of Church of St. Mary Magdalene – honestly, you won't be able to miss it. Also close by, see the 30+ exhibits of the Bubble Car Museum at Byards Leap, five miles towards Sleaford on the A17, and visit the market town of Sleaford and its Cogglesford Mill within 12 miles. Lincoln – for cathedral, castle, marina and the shops of Brayford Waterfront – is 13 miles away. If you feel like having some history, get hither to RAF Connisby, home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the only flying Lancaster in Europe, several Spitfires, Hurricanes, the new Eurofighter and a DC3 (Dakota). Or try a trip 24 miles away to Tattershall Castle, a medieval castle now managed by the National Trust.
