喜欢 It was perfect for us. Beautiful area, a really close (to our pitch) little play area for my kids, well kept toilets/showers and lovely campsite host.

喜欢 For us it was just getting away from everything. If your a good walker nearest pub is 35 mins across fields along walkers route or 50 mins along road.( we didn't do it). Bring everything you need with you, unless you got transport.
Ellie was a good host and kept intouch.

来自经理: Thank you for you review, we always appreciate the time it takes guests to do one. Although i don't agree with what you have put we all have our differences. You have marked us down for location, but you can clearly see on google maps etc where we are, facilities, we have what we have, we are a small site with, toilets, showers, washup area, fridge, elsan and grey waste point and wash out area also a children's play area, walks and a little honesty shop, I would love to know what else you were expecting?
Cleanliness, well I don't know where to start if you look at every other review on here my cleanliness is almost always 5 star, I never have complaints about that. i do apologise that one of the hand soaps was nearly empty and i got it filled up straight away and refilled the toilet rolls even though there was a cupboard full and you said there was none. ( you made this complaint and you hadn't even been on site 5 minutes) And unfortunately we don't offer wifi.
To be honest you were so rude to me when you arrived that I nearly asked you to leave, but I was pleasant and helpful as I am to all my guests which everyone loves, as I have again 5 starts for customer service, gave you directions on how to get to your grandsons graduation and where to eat in the area when asked.

I knew this review was coming. This campsite is obviously not for you and to be honest you wouldn't be welcomed back, I do however feel sorry for the next campsite that you visit.
Luckily 99% of our guests are lovely! and we welcome them back with open arms!
Have a lovely rest of your summer and I do hope you enjoyed your grandsons graduation.

喜欢 Small site, large pitches, quiet, excellent very clean facilities. Friendly, family run business.
Hope to have a return visit next year.

喜欢 Great location! Out of the way with amazing views. Facilities were perfect, 2 separate bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower. Made it much easier to get ready than in shower cubicles. All facilities within short walk of all pitches. Ellie was lovely and felt very looked after. Would highly recommend to anyone.

喜欢 Beautiful views, clean toilet and shower room, exceptional host. Animals around too which is amazing! This is a working farm so please be aware.

Ellie is so accommodating and gave us loads of tips of things to do, places to eat etc. You can even ask to see the tractors and be shown the farm.. great education for kids. Fire pits can be hired and wood purchased.

Ellie was even kind enough to lend us an electric hook up as ours broke on arrival. Such a small gesture but made our stay better.

The farm dogs, Fern and Bracken are an absolute joy.. beautiful dogs who love fuss but are also very respectful of you if dogs are not your thing.

The chickens think the lane is theirs so be careful on arrival and departure.. afterall, it is their home!! You are just a visitor.

We plan to visit again next season.. absolute 5* site for a peaceful and relaxing stay

喜欢 Great pitch sizes, lovely toilet and shower blocks in a wooden cabin, playground area for the kids and a lovely view.
Ellie was in touch regularly and popped over to see us each day to check on how we were and if we needed anything.
Will absolutely be going back next year!

不喜欢 Road through the farm yard not the best, owners dogs wondering free constantly trying to go in the tents and begging for food.

来自经理: Thank you for your review we do read them and take all in to consideration, however it is always nice if you tell me things when you are on site and we can sort it even quicker, nothing was said to me during your stay.
My dogs are the bain of my life and unfortunately cant tell the difference between the guests that want them and the guests that don't, i do try and keep them away but when other guests actively call them up there it is very difficult.
The road through the farm, you are the first person to say something, it is a farm track i apologise it was not flat/level enough but I'm not sure i can really do anything about that and it also keeps people from going too fast through the yard where there are children and animals.
This was obviously not the site for you so i hope you find somewhere more to your taste for your next trip.

喜欢 Large pitches, electric included in price, central graveled access to all the pitches, rural location, minimal road noise if any. Friendly welcoming owners. Clean toilet/sink/shower cabin + washing up station and freezer. Everything you need.

不喜欢 This isn't really a dislike but the drinking water tap to the side of the shower cabin isn't in a very convenient location for filling up the on board water tank on most campervans unless you have a very long hose or drive your van onto the adjacent pitch. A tap on a free standing post closer to the driveway would be better. Luckily I had brought my own water and didn't need to fill up during my two night stay.
