Ik was blij met Nature,farm animals,huge pitches,clean showers,toilets.
Everything not overprised like logs,fire pit rent.
All was amazing.
Staff was veru helpfull.

Ik was blij met This beautiful site is absolutely one we wouldnt hesitate to return to.
First off..
The owner - Ellie is a wonderful host who checked in with us when she could (its a working farm after all) and was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. I recieved a message after our first night to make sure all was ok, which we thought was really nice. All in all, a lovely person.
The site - The camping pitches are HUGE with enough room for a.large family. It is as level.as it can be, and very cosy. It is exposed, so the wind is constant, although that could also be because of the time of year.
The Facilities - basic but very very clean and smelt lovely and fresh. There is hot hot water, a couple of showers and toilets. The washing up area is between 2 toilet/shower rooms and again, was clean. There is also the ability to dispose and recycle rubbish at the allocated bins. Dont do what my other half did though and walk straight past them, or you might end up facing a cow staring deep into your soul.
Final Verdict- Would definitely stay here again. It was peaceful and calming. The night sky is stunning, and waking up to nature's sounds is the icing on the cake.

Ik was blij met Loved this site, large grassy pitches with or without EHU, super clean loos, showers and wash up area. Lovely walks from farm and great area to explore. Near Rutland Water, Foxton Locks and several pretty villages and pubs. Nice when the dogs came to visit. Lovely welcome from Ellie.

Ik was blij met Extremely spacious pitches which fit even the biggest tents
Immaculate shower and toilets which were fully equipped with everything you could need
Great washing up area with a fridge and first aid kit
Fire pits and picnic benches
Wonderful views at sunrise and sunset
No road noise or light pollution

Ik was blij met This is a beautiful location, next to nature in a lovely clean set up, with beautiful views.
I loved the fact you couod hear farmyard animals in the surrounding fields. The site owner is very pleasant and helpful, we definitely plan to revisit.

Ik was niet blij met Not a dislike as such but we found the electric box wasn't equidistant between pitches so our electric lead wasn't really long enough. We sorted this by strategically pitching the tent. Not a major issue, we've now bought an extension lead to prevent ant future occurrenceson other pitches.

Ik was blij met Very clean and welcoming site, lovely walks nearby and host Ellie is very friendly. Fire pits are great, large pitches and facilities very clean for washing and showering.

Ik was blij met Amazing views, lovely hosts , bathroom facilities are great. Fire pits for hire and wood to buy too. Will definitely stay again. Being dog friendly is great too.

Ik was blij met Large pitches. Plenty of room for the kids to play. Decent facilities and we'll kept.

Van de manager: Thank you for your comments, we appreciate all the comments we receive. I am sorry the dogs caused a nuisance and can only apologise for this. Unfortunately 95% of our guests actively encourage the dogs onto the site even bringing them treats and feeding them and unfortunately the dogs cant tell when they are wanted or not. We are however in the process of installing virtual collars so that the dogs do say away from the site as i am aware it is not ideal. this will be all set up for next year. unfortunately we have no other way of keeping the dogs contained to an area as we are so open plan. we do hope it hasn't put you off visiting us again and we hope to see you in the future.
