Step into the splendid Gloucestershire countryside and set up camp just two miles from the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds National Landscape. With Pebbly Barn Farm as your base, fab, far-reaching views are a given, as is a warm welcome into a peaceful retreat where well-behaved dogs are welcomed on leads and adventures in the Cotswolds are within easy reach… Once you’ve pitched up your tent in the roomy fields here, set off on the walking and cycling trails in the surrounding area (some of them begin very close by). You could make off to Moreton-in-Marsh's antique emporiums, tearooms, art galleries and delis, half an hour’s walk away, or time your visit right for the town’s Tuesday open-air market. With the Four Shire Stone on the outskirts of the town, another option is standing in the old meeting point of the four counties of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire (cool, huh?) There's also plenty of scope for tasty dinnertimes, with cafés, restaurants and pubs (including a couple rumoured to be past haunts of the author J.R.R. Tolkien) on the town high street and barbecues permitted on site (on a proper stand to protect the grass). The famed Diddly Squat Farm Shop is also 15 minutes' drive away. As for when the sun goes down, there are firepits for hire on site. The facilities here include toilets, showers and a handy dishwashing area, all close to the peaceful pitches. And though it may be rural, you won't be cut off here as Moreton-in-Marsh’s train station has routes to London and Cheltenham, and bus services go to many Cotswold towns and villages.

喜欢 Campsite that’s really well taken care of and with lots of attention to detail and cleanliness. You can tell the family that runs it are proud of it and keep it to a high standard. Loved that it’s an open field and you can decide where to pitch plus can have your car parked directly next to your tent (helps with unloading and loading). Views are lovely, and so is the nearby walk to the dog park. Would definitely recommend and will likely be back if in the area.

喜欢 Loved staying at this site - we booked on the same day as a last minute get away & everything was superb! Especially if you have a fur baby! The pitches were clean and has a peaceful atmosphere. You can order a firepit before 8pm so we will definitely do that next time! There is field of beautiful horses and a lovely walking route on site down the to river you can take your dog to. Bathrooms/showers/washrooms were the cleanest I've ever been in for a camp site! & Has so many touristy spots nearby like Diddly Squat farm shop & so many lovely little pubs not far at all. Will definitely be booking again!

喜欢 Really gorgeous site. Great facilities; the showers and bathrooms were always immaculate and well stocked, as we're the washing up areas. Very understanding when we had to stay late to jump start a car.

Fields haves beautiful views and we found it easy to get privacy with two tents, even though we were near someone else.

不喜欢 Nothing. Phone signal is unreliable in the area but is fine on-site. We'll definitely be coming back.

喜欢 A beautiful, peaceful campsite. Plenty of space. Toilets, showers, washing up spaces all super clean and well provided. 30 minute walk to picturesque Morton in Marsh.

喜欢 Wonderful large open field, well kept with tidy hedges and smart black iron rail fences. Super quiet location in a very peaceful spot. Good toilets and washrooms. And two good pubs a short drive away.

喜欢 Great stay from start to finish. Welcomed and went out their way to help us set up 4 vans together by taking down a fence. The also hooked us up to EHU with a massive extension lead, even through we'd not booked it.
Amazingly built, kept and cleaned facilities.
All round lovely and peaceful place - would 100% reccommend and will 100% be back!

Where can a 10-minute car ride get you? It turns out, a lot of places. There’s the dog-friendly plant centre and café at the 56-acre Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre (10 minutes’ drive), flying displays from falcons, eagles and other birds of prey at the Cotswold Falconry Centre (10 minutes) or the splendid 18th-century gardens at Bourton House Garden (10 minutes). Sezincote House (10 minutes) is another of those close-by spots and a rare authentic Mughal palace with a house and tea room – get there on foot if you wish by following the local Moreton Eight walk near the site. With the World Heritage Site of Blenheim Palace (half an hour) and the National Trust’s Chastleton House (10 minutes) close by too, there are many more options to have a nose around additional historic buildings. When you’re ready for some animal life, Cotswold Farm Park’s rare breeds, outdoor play and bouncy pillows (20 minutes) are likely to be a hit with the kids, or perhaps a peaceful picnic by the river Windrush in Bourton-on-the-Water (20 minutes) will do, with Birdland the prize attraction here.
