喜欢 great location, amazing views, seems a well run site with basic but practical amenities. all you need from a campsite close to all local walks/ attractions, will return!

喜欢 Facilities clean and plenty of room to pitch the tent. Noise on campsite quiet after 11pm which was great as we have children. Would recommend and definitely return.

不喜欢 No phone signal and got charged double the pitch was definitely not reflective of the price paid.

喜欢 Great views of Mam Tor and and right on a public footpath so good for walks. The farm serves breakfast, hot drinks and jacket potatoes at the weekend which is big bonus! Toilets and washing areas clean.

不喜欢 The big skip at the front was full and starting to smell.

喜欢 The site was in the main quiet level. It was nice and quiet but it is a working farm, so obviously there was associated noise from that but, it was not something that would bother us. Loved it overall.

不喜欢 The skip for rubbish was not emptied in the time we were there and it was full and overflowing. We were very annoyed that someone’s dog had left a pile right outside our awning door! We had to clean this up! Not acceptable if you have a dog it should be on a lead and you should pick up after it. The toilets and showers could do with a bit of an update and also an area built for emptying toilet cassettes rather than having to use the toilet.

喜欢 Loved how remote it was. High up in the peaks. Lovely site, very scenic. Good for dog owners as a short walk up the private road to an open field for off lead walks. I only spoke to the owners daughter, who was a lovely, polite young lady. Facilities as described.
Unsure if it mentioned a fridge freezer available for camping use. That's a god send for campers.
Pleasantly surprised with a couple of young groups of males and females. Both clearly looked to have had a nice time, but were quite and respectful to the families and elders at the site. So a big thanks to them :)
Chicken and duck eggs available to buy. Bring cash!

不喜欢 Very tight left turn into the field. Me with a van and a 7.9m caravan didn't fair well with the telegraph pole on the right. It caught the rear right of my caravan on the turn in.
Upon leaving, I had help watching, and i had to unhook and push the caravan a little way to them reconnect. If my motormover worked it wouldn't be an issue.
