Middlehills Farm Campsite

喜欢 It was our very first time camping and middlehills had been recommended by friends. We stayed one night and were lucky with the weather. Check in was easy, and the field was well kept. We have 2 children ages 8 and 3. The play park was ideal for both of them. The onsite shop was small but had a bit of everything you need. There is a fridge and freezer in the pot washing area to keep any food. We had pizzas from the pizza van on the Saturday night. Although they don’t stock gluten free they were more than accommodating to cook me a pizza on the base I provided. Our girls loved seeing all the animals in the surrounding fields - pig, chickens, pony, sheep. It’s a quiet spot, no traffic noise and the site itself was quiet. Everyone was just having a great time with their families. Staff were maintaining toilets and showers on the Sunday morning.
As a non camper middlehills farm was a perfect start and we will definately return. Thank you for our stay.

喜欢 Lovely site, pizza van was an added bonus, it also meant that it was one less meal we needed to prepare for. Facilities were well maintained with good availability. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful

喜欢 Pitch was perfect. Lovely view and surroundings. Very well maintained site, lovely toilet and shower block and washing up facilities. Communal fridge and freezer. Great play park, shop well stocked. Great to see the animals so close by. Great, safe feel to the site. A lovely time as our first camping experience and we will be back.

喜欢 The site had all facilities to make the stay easier. Fridge, Freezer, Toilets, Bathroom, Drinking water, Kids play area, Shop, Pizza van etc.

不喜欢 The pitch was slightly sloppy so it was difficult to sleep inside the tent

喜欢 All of the above. Amenities very accessible and close to all tent pitches. Staff on the farm very friendly and approachable. Shop had fantastic bits if you forgot anything !

喜欢 Returned for the first time since 2018, which was with my eldest, this time with my middle child (3) and it’s still just as great. Facilities, location, price, extremely child friendly, great park and open secure space for kids. Onsite shop selling local produce and camping/caravanning essentials. Camp fires (weather permitting) available for £20 refundable deposit + £5 per night. Will be returning in the near future, forgot how good this place was.

喜欢 We absolutely loved our stay at Middlehill Farm. The site is spacious, peaceful, and extremely well maintained, with excellent, clean facilities throughout.

The onsite playground was a huge bonus — it’s brilliantly designed, well kept, and our children had a fantastic time playing there.

All the staff were incredibly friendly, approachable, and always happy to help or offer advice on places to visit nearby. The onsite shop is also really convenient and well stocked with all the essentials and tasty food items.

We couldn’t have asked for a camp site — highly recommended!

喜欢 -Great facilities and friendly staff.
-Toilets and showers sparkling clean and a lovely little shop.
-The tent pitch area was flat and the grass was well cut and plenty of space

喜欢 We loved the place completely. The toilets, put washing area and showers were lovely and clean there is a fridge freezer in pot wash room
there is a lovely little shop stocked with things you might forget right up to your airbed! We went no ehu but brought my electric air beds with me, they blew them up at the shop then deflated them without any fuss!
There is a lovely playground for the kiddies and plenty of room for everyone
There are farm animals around and some lovely walks, the camping fields are very well kept and the owners are very friendly and the couple that run the shop are really lovely people

不喜欢 The blooming wasps! We went into Matlock bath and they were suffering from them too!
The camp does have traps up everywhere but there just no stopping them!
It must be a side effect of the heat wave
