Everyone off to Porto: Portugal's second biggest city is a place of world-famed wines, gorgeous port (of course), the bars and restaurants of the Ribeira area, and old, old sites like the Palácio da Bolsa. To stay within simple reach of Porto while still avoiding big-city prices, have a break at Parque Orbitur Angeiras, 16 kilometres north of town. It's a peaceful and green Porto spot, surrounded by trees and bushes and opposite the beach in the fishing village of Angeiras. A bus stop is close to the site. Spectacular Portuguese sands, the dunes of Mindelo and the vineyards of the Douro Valley are all easy to get to from here; on site, there's a pool and a paddling pool, a tennis court, a multisports pitch, a playground and a TV room. A mini market is also to hand, but you'll probably prefer to have bites to eat at the restaurant, popular with Angeiras locals. Amenities include washrooms with showers, toilets and disabled facilities.

喜欢 Location good, and friendly and helpful staff.
It seemed a bit unnecessary to have to wait for maintenance/security to unlock the electricity cabinet. Unless some people try to get free electricity. Just caused unnecessary delays. But electricity was fine

不喜欢 Pitches very small for a car and caravan.
Luckily we had a motor mover but still needed to exit on incoming traffic direction to get the caravan out.
Showers. although nice and hot and clean, the plastic mat to stand on was extremely uncomfortable on my feet..I think the drains needed clearing, as water spread to other showers and over the whole shower area in both ladies & gents.

喜欢 Nice enough site, location lovely and a good supermarket just 5 minutes away, which is needed as the site shop has very little.

不喜欢 Small pitches, expensive for what it is. Having to pay extra per person per day to use the pool

喜欢 Staff were friendly and accommodating.

不喜欢 The EHU is locked so had to wait on arrival and departure for someone to unlock the unit! On departure had to wait 30 mins! Had to pay an extra €6 for a cable adapter.
No toilet paper in cubicle’s only one by sinks which ran out late afternoon and not replaced until 9am! No hand towels?
Lots of permanent set ups. Which meant we were limited on pitch options due to numerous EHU’s already in use.
Poor quality site map could hardly read it!
WiFi only available near reception!

喜欢 La ubicación, a pocos pasos de la playa. Se puede disfrutar de un recorrido histórico con pasarelas junto al mar. Además, hay varios chiringuitos donde se come bien. Porto está muy cerca y se llega fácilmente en Uber

不喜欢 Es caro i no asignan parcela; cuando llegamos no quedaba ningún espacio libre, salvo un hueco detrás de los contenedores. Los baños estaban sucios

Several beaches are close by, including Angeiras beach opposite the site, Labruge beach two kilometres north and São Paio beach within three and a half kilometres in the same direction. The dunes of Mindelo are also worth their eight-kilometre trip for a flit around their ornithological reserve. Take the bus from outside the site to reach Porto in about an hour, to mooch around its many attractions including the Palácio da Bolsa, the Fundação de Serralves and the historic Ribeira area, with its many bars dishing up local cuisine. The city's most famed of course for its port wine (the clue is in the name), so wander around the plentiful port cellars too, to see how it's all made and to sample the many different and mighty tasty varieties. If you now have a thirst for learning more about Portugal's wine, take a day trip to the Douro Valley to visit the vineyards there surrounded by their spectacular scenery. Other destinations for day trips include the lively city of Braga and its 12th-century cathedral, and Guimarães, to take a cable car ride over the historic streets. Both cities are around 50 kilometres away.
