Tyckte om A Peaceful Welsh Getaway Near Mold We had a lovely few days at this beautiful lodge, and if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the place. As it's a new accommodation, there aren't many reviews yet, but it definitely won't disappoint. Our hosts, Jackie and Paul, are a wonderful, friendly couple who went out of their way to help us. The lodge itself was lovely, clean, and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space underneath. The small but compact kitchen is perfect for a short break, equipped with an air fryer and a microwave. We just wish we'd remembered to bring a toaster! The location is fantastic, with lots to do and see nearby. Mold's high street is only a short distance away for shopping, drinks, and food. The farm itself has friendly chickens, pigs, and dogs. We enjoyed a walk up the hill next to the house for some amazing views, and you can also see beautiful scenery right from the lodge itself. There's a separate garden area to the side of the lodge that acts as a real sun trap, and the private shower and toilet are conveniently located right next to the accommodation. We highly recommend this spot for a few days away in Wales—we absolutely loved it!
