Tomt för tält eller för husbilstält med elektricitet på gräs
Tyckte om Lovely beautiful Lake District location. Not far into Cockermouth or Keswick. Very much a farm location which we liked but maybe not for everyone. It’s a no frills site with basic facilities. Friendly site owner that put the effort into giving us pitches near our friends. Well managed waste area.
Tyckte inte om Bathrooms won’t be for everyone. They need a bit of work. Missing tiles and rather dated. This isn’t too much of a put off if you know what you’re getting.
Showers run hot and cold. Everyone in our group said this.
These were the only negative. Otherwise a fab site.

Boundary tomt campingbil, för tält eller för husbilstält med elektricitet som tillval på gräs (XL)
Tyckte om Really nice site with modern facilities. Good dog walking area and access to a public footpath which leads to the canal. Electricity is metered which I think is fair and the site is well laid out.
Location easy to find and nice to watch the planes as the sun goes down.
Tyckte inte om The bin area has rubbish piled up. There was one metal industrial bin and 2 bulk tonne bags. All was full and people dumped rubbish next to the bins. No recycling also.
Showers had a bit of mould in the sealant.

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your comments. If I may address them: The bins are very difficult to manage, that is why they are out of sight. Extra 'tote' bags are provided for overflow situations. All the rubbish was removed from site when everyone left on the Sunday afternoon. I am always staggered at the amount of rubbish people create, it would seem that 'saving the planet 'doesn't apply whilst camping! Recycling is done at the collection company site. Mould on the sealant is a constant battle
