Tyckte om Stunning area. Lovely campsite with very good size pitches. Loved that the pitches were sculpted into the wild field added to a sense of privacy. Was thankful for the flushing toilets. A good touch was that you could charge your devices which is always a problem for me when I motorcycle camp. Views were just second to none. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!

Tyckte om Facilities excellent. Felt like I had them to myself! POD is brilliant and very thoughtful in what it has such as fridge, tv, toaster, kettle and what was really good in this heat was a fan!!! Bed very comfortable. Lovely bedding. Brilliant view out the door!

Tyckte inte om Followed sat nav to the location. No sign posts or any indication I was at the correct place. Contact at Pitchcott had previously emailed to ask what time I was arriving. Promptly emailed back. Then was emailed to call once arrived. Called once arrived and stated I was not sure if I was at the right location. Was asked to describe the location, well it is a farm with a concrete set of barns and looked liked a stable block. Was told would be with me in 5 mins. 15 mins later showed up. I had paid £80 for 2 nights on a hard standing pitch with ehu. I was told either park on a weed filled area next to the barn (see pictures) or in an area a bit further away. Again full of weeds. Cars were parked in the hard standing area. Firstly I tried to reverse into the first area as I was worried about the length of my ehu cable. Upon exiting the cab promptly stood on a massive patch of nettles. Decided to move to the area a bit further away. After several attempts to line up the motorhome as to have space in between the thistles I went to hook up. At this point I had been told that it is not actually and ehu unit that the majority of campers/motorhome etc would be used to. It was in fact a set of 16amp 3 pin regular sockets, so be warned to take and adapter for the cable. I had enquired where the water was and was taken to some green hose piping coming out of a tap at the side of the barn. Not 100% was food grade but luckily I had a bottle of fresh water. After 1 night of thinking about how much I had paid for what I actually got made me quite angry. Definitely will never be visiting again, will be going to Town Farm in Ivinghoe, not a great distance away and 100% better value and a much more realistic approach to a motorhome. Please see pictures. Truly shocking.

Från föreståndaren: Hello Sarah, sorry to hear you had some issues with your stay at the farm. You explicitly requested to be sited in an area where you wouldn't be disturbed by anyone else so I suggested that you set up in the paddock which you had all to yourself. The farm is clearly described as having wild areas where nature is allowed to flourish. I was available if you had any concerns or questions (the water is all from the mains and therefore totally safe to drink). Best wishes, Tony

Tyckte om Firstly as you approach you can tell the site is kept immaculately. Martin was very helpful when I arrived. The pitch itself was a very good size. Again grass was better then my lawn and my lawn looks good! Toilet and shower facilities the best I’ve experienced at a camp site. Onsite shop sells the best butter ever and some really quirky Japanese chewy sweets (if I’d known how hard they would be to get hold of I would have bought the shops stock, very nice sweets!). Farm shop nearby with good selection of local produce. I was very impressed with the WiFi. It was good to the point I didn’t feel the need to pay the extra for the premium WiFi. What really made it great however was Martin himself. Very nice man who would go well beyond the extra mile to ensure you’re happy. Location is great for visiting both North and South coasts. We will definitely be back next year!

Tyckte om Very clean services. Can not fault the toilets and the areas to wash up and bin rubbish. The lady and gentleman were very friendly. Loved that we had most the site to ourselves as it was October. Ground was green and well kept, perfect for our tent. This was our first time camping and was a very positive one which will encourage us to go again. The beautiful beaches were close on hand.
