Tyckte om Very peaceful, level pitch in a beautiful rural setting with a picnic bench, fire pit, access to water and a compost toilet. Everything we needed for a couple of nights away. Thank you!

Tyckte om Lovely little campsite in a very peaceful location. Nicely spaced out pitches and clean toilet blocks. Perfect for what we needed. We arrived at 6pm and left at 7am so didn't explore much of the rest of the site, but would love to stay again.

Tyckte om An ideal location in a rural area of the lake district but woth easy access to local towns/shops. The yurt had spectacular views of the peaks from outside the front door and the children particularly liked watching the lambs in the field opposite. The field was very peaceful with only 3 yurts and a sheppherds hut, which made it easy to enjoy the sounds of the local wildlife and ensured a quiet nights sleep. Inside, the yurt was spacious but cosy with a well stocked kitchenette, sofa beds and a log burner with all the equipment needed for a cosy evening playing board games. The bedding provided was warm and clean ensuring a comfortable night sleep before the day of activities ahead. As advertised, no WiFi is provided which for me is a bonus - an easy way to get the children off their screens and out enjoying the outdoors. There was good phone signal thouslgh, so easy to plan and research activities in the local area. The compost toilet, shower and washing up facilities were immaculate, not even a spider in sight which is quite a novelty on a farm campsite. Freezer blocks and a cool box were provided to keep milk etc cool overnight which was useful. We would absolutely stay here again!
